    Abstract: User location-based alerting in a cellular network may be provided. Geographical location information for one or more mobile terminals of the cellular network is received at a network entity of the cellular network from one or both of: a core network part of the cellular network; and a network management part of the cellular network. One or more geographical locations are identified and a message is then generated to cause an alert to be sent to any mobile terminals in the one or more geographical locations based on the received geographical location information.
