Abstract: A method of comparing three dimensional structure of polymers such as proteins is provided herein comprising the steps of developing at least one key of the protein wherein each said at least one key is based on a quintuple of features consisting of three non-collinear objects in said protein, a representative angle between the three non-collinear objects, and a representative edge length, and comparing the key to either a known database of keys or a key developed for another protein to determine the protein or run a comparison thereof. Additionally, the invention includes a novel method of discovering motifs using key generation. The invention also covers a novel method for representation of protein and drug 3-D structures for the prediction of drug and target interactions.

Abstract: The techniques and mechanisms described herein are directed to a method for creating an identity that defines a visual appearance for output generated by multiple applications. The identity may include a base design, an effects scheme, a color scheme, a font scheme, a logo, and business information. The identity being saved in a form that is accessible by the multiple applications so that when accessed, the application applies the identity to a document to give the document a consistent visual appearance with output from other applications.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium are provided for merging data from multiple data sources for use in an electronic document. The method includes receiving field names and field data from an initial data source, mapping field names from a subsequently added data source to the initial data source, building a recipient list schema based on the field names from the initial data source and the mapped field names from the subsequently added data source, creating a recipient list according to the recipient list schema, and saving the recipient list to a file. The recipient list schema defines the relationships between the field names in the recipient list and the field names in the initial and subsequently added data sources.
