  • Patent number: 12220506
Abstract: Breast pump 2 includes breast pump main body 3 generating a negative pressure for pumping, hood 4 connected to the main body 3 and placed onto a breast, and buffer portion 7 mounted detachably to hood 4, and made of a material softer than a material of hood 4. Hood 4 includes flow path portion 41 connected to the main body 3 and through which breast milk extracted from the breast passes, and diameter expansion portion 42 having a diameter expanding from flow path portion 41 toward edge portion 43 on a side opposite to flow path portion 41. Buffer portion 7 includes bonding portion 71 fitted to edge portion 43, and sealing portion 72 provided on the side opposite to bonding portion 71 and comes into close contact with inner surface 421 of diameter expansion portion 42 between flow path portion 41 and edge portion 43.

  • Patent number: 11992587
Abstract: An electric breast pump 1 includes a breast placement part 12 at which a breast part including a breast and a nipple of a subject is placed and suction-pressure generating units 10 and 50 that generate a suction pressure in the breast placement part. The suction-pressure generating unit generates a suction cycle including a plurality of different suction pressures. The suction cycle includes basic suction, increased suction with an increased suction pressure, and reduced suction with a reduced suction pressure. A suction pressure difference between a suction pressure increasing in the increased suction and a suction pressure reducing in the reduced suction is an equal pressure and is a pressure difference at a borderline at which a user perceives a change of a suction pressure. In the suction cycle, the basic suction, the increased suction, and the reduced suction are each repeated multiple times consecutively at an equal suction pressure.

The suction-pressure generating unit generates a suction cycle including a plurality of sucking operations. The suction cycle includes basic suction and increased suction with an increased suction pressure. A suction pressure difference that increases in the increased suction is a pressure difference at a borderline at which a user perceives a change of a suction pressure. In the suction cycle, the basic suction and the increased suction are each repeated multiple times consecutively at an equal suction pressure. At least a last sucking operation in the suction cycle is extended suction having a longer suction time than those of other sucking operations.

  • Publication number: 20200171223
Abstract: [Problem] To provide a manual breast pump in which a muscle load due to a repeated operation of a handle can be reduced, and in which a section contacting breast milk can be cleaned easily. [Solution] A manual breast pump includes a main body casing 31, a hood 4, a base part 32 which is held by the main body casing 31 and has a communicating part S4 connected spatially to an inner space S3, a diaphragm generating a negative pressure in the communicating part S4, a holding member 33 which is provided at the base part 32 and includes a wall part sandwiched between the main body casing 31 and the base part 32, and a handle 5 which is provided to be rotatable with respect to the main body casing 31 with an axis 325 of the base part 32 as the center, and is for an operation of deforming the diaphragm 34.
