Abstract: An apparatus, method and program produce small print including character string information in a plurality of languages together with a logo. A language converting function converts an input character string into another language. A multi-language printing function converts the input character string into a specified number and types of languages. A layout function allows specifying one piece of information of the logo, specifying one record, specifying one type of character string information and printing the specified layout as the small print inclusive of the logo and character string.

Abstract: An apparatus, method and program for producing being able to produce a small print having print contents including character string information of a plurality of types of languages or the logo such as the public mark added to the print contents are provided. The invention has a language converting function in which an input character string is converted into another language and the character string of a printing subject includes the converted character string but does not include the input character string. The invention also has a multi-language printing function in which the input character string is converted into the character string of another language in accordance with specified contents of the number of languages and the type of language and the character string or input character string converted into the character string of another language in accordance with the specified contents of the number of languages and the type of language is included in the character string of the printing subject.

Abstract: Apparatus for attaching seal-strip segments to individual packages, where the segments are in the form of a strip having opposed surfaces, includes a transfer element moveable periodically between a receiving position for receiving a segment from a supply thereof and a transfer position for transferring the segment. The transfer element releasably holds a segment with one surface thereof in contact with the element. A rotatable turret is provided having a plurality of stations at equal angular positions about the axis of rotation of the turret, each station having a support surface for supporting a segment. Rotation of the turret is synchronized with movement of the transfer element such that, during one revolution of the turret, a different one of the stations is operatively associated with the transfer element each time the latter moves to its transfer position.
