  • Publication number: 20110249972
Abstract: An apparatus for decreasing the hardware load from L2 switch MAC address learning for Ethernet-Over-SONET technology that uses VLAN, simplifying frame transmission between Ethernet and SONET, and improving the reliability of each device is disclosed. An Ethernet frame and SONET frame convertible interface part establishes a register that holds an Ethernet frame specific VLANID and SONET frame specific STS path ID in opposition, and a multiplexing part that multiplexes an Ethernet frame having a specific VLANID corresponding to a specific STS path ID that is held by a register among an input plurality of Ethernet frame VLAN ID's.

  • Patent number: 7463655
Abstract: The present invention provides a data transmission method in which a SONET is applied to Ethernet LANs. This method realizes a redundant structure of the Ethernet while utilizing the bandwidth of the SONET. On a server side, a working path and a back-up path of the Ethernet are multiplexed onto the same path of the SONET, and data transmission is conducted through the multiplexed path. On a client side, a data packet transmitted through the multiplexed path is divided by a filtering operation through detection of a port ID added on the transmitting side.

  • Publication number: 20070025555
Abstract: A sound-signal generating unit generates, when a positional relationship between a local information processing apparatus and a user is acquired, a sound signal that makes the user perceive a virtual sound source at a predetermined position in a three-dimensional space based on the acquired positional relationship.

  • Publication number: 20030043838
Abstract: A transmission method and a transmission device are provided according to the present invention. In the method and device, a packet frame of a user is converted into a synchronous frame, and the synchronous frame is transmitted through a time division multiplex network. A time-division multiplex transmission band is allocated to the user according to a channel band of the packet frame of the user.
