  • Publication number: 20130280090
Abstract: A structure that rigidly connects a shaft and a hub in a fan device with a motor, ensuring the squareness of the shaft in relation to the hub, and not worsening the flowability of the resin that constitutes the hub during injection molding, is provided. The fan device includes an approximately cylindrical hub 117 with a bottom and made of resin, vanes 118 positioned at an outer circumference of the hub 117, a shaft 113 attached to the bottom of the hub 117, and a reinforcing plate 115 for reinforcing the bottom of the hub 117. The shaft 113 is connected to the reinforcing plate 115, and a through hole 115b filled with the resin for making the hub 117 is provided on the reinforcing plate.

  • Patent number: 6796289
Abstract: The burning of unburned fuel in an exhaust pipe is a technique for preventing a turbo lag. However, since the technique requires combustion in the exhaust pipe, the temperature in the exhaust pipe becomes high, which is likely to damage the exhaust pipe, cause the exhaust emissions to deteriorate. The present invention addresses this problem by providing an ignition control apparatus for an engine with a turbocharger, capable of adjusting an ignition timing and a turbocharger. When a throttle valve is opened rapidly, the ignition control apparatus causes the ignition timing to advance with respect to the ordinary ignition timing. Consequently, the start of combustion is advanced, and the speed of rotation of the engine is raised, thereby increasing the speed of an exhaust turbine to achieve the desired increase in engine performance, without the problems of conventional ignition control systems.

  • Patent number: 6758189
Abstract: When a large load is exerted during restraint control of an engine of a jet propulsion boat, the drop of the engine revolution frequency causes a feeling of harsh braking. An engine revolution frequency control apparatus provided to prevent this problem includes a engine revolution frequency detector for detecting an engine revolution frequency, and threshold value setting units for setting first and second engine revolution frequency threshold values. The second threshold value is set to be higher than the first threshold value. An engine control unit includes an overspeed governing capability that starts restraint control for restraining rotation when the engine revolution frequency detected by the engine revolution frequency detector is more than said first threshold value when the engine is accelerating, and terminates restraint control when the engine revolution frequency is less than a second thresholds value during deceleration.

  • Patent number: 6688771
Abstract: Strength and rigidity are provided to a retainer so as to prevent the retainer from being deformed by force and sliding friction generated by rolling elements thereby preventing occurrence of retainer noise of a rolling bearing and aggravation of NRRO. A retainer is entirely formed of synthetic resin, and a highly elastic synthetic resin is used for the claws which are required to be highly elastic. A part below a boundary L of a body portion is formed of resin with sufficient strength and rigidity to prevent deformation due to force and sliding friction of rolling elements, thus preventing decline in strength of the retainer as a whole which may occur because of the use of resin with high elasticity for the claws. The strength of the retainer as a whole is fully ensured by the body portion, thus improving various functions, contributed by the rolling bearing.

  • Patent number: 6565259
Abstract: The present invention provides a rolling bearing that prevents retainer noise and NRRO deterioration thereof by imparting strength and rigidity to a retainer so as to prevent it from being deformed by force from rolling elements and sliding friction. An annular plate is connected to a retainer by bosses. Due to the rigidity of the annular plate, the strength and rigidity of the retainer can be improved. Additionally, since the bosses are fixed to grease reservoirs arranged at an equal spacing therebetween on the circumference of the retainer, the strength and rigidity of the retainer can be equally improved over the entire circumference thereof.

  • Patent number: 5551858
Abstract: An improved injection molding apparatus having a fixed mold 7 having a molten resin passage 16b and a movable second mold 8 having a molten resin passage 18 is presented in which residual hardened resin left in molten resin passages of the injection apparatus is removed automatically after every injection operation. The invented device is provided with a reciprocating member 34 which is coupled in molten resin passages 16b, 18, and during the injection step, the molten resin passage 16b is extended to the molten resin passage 18 by moving the reciprocating member 34 into the second mold to communicate a mold cavity 17 with a resin injection device 14. After the completion of the injection step, the reciprocating member 34 is moved to the back position to remove any resin left in the molten resin passage towards the first mold.

  • Patent number: 5492658
Abstract: The present intention intends to operate an ejector which carries out gate cut and product ejection in an injection molding machine, at optimal speeds, respectively. According to the present invention, a control unit for controlling hydraulic or electric drive means for operating one or more than one ejector pin comprises operation speed setting means for gate cut and another operation speed setting means for product ejection. Such a structure enables to carry out gate cut by operating an ejector unit controlled by an ejector unit operation speed setting means for a gate cut and, subsequently, to carry out a product ejection from metallic molds by operating the ejector unit controlled by another ejector unit operation speed setting means for product ejection. The ejector unit is set at a comparatively high operation speed for gate cut so that no gate trace will remain, and at a comparatively low operation speed for product ejection so that no cracks will be generated in the product.
