  • Patent number: 9856365
Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic composition that provides improved thermal aging stability along with durability. The thermoplastic composition comprises a polyamide resin, and a polyhydric alcohol, wherein a majority of the polyhydric alcohol particles have a particle size that is less than about 70 microns. It has been found that a combination of a polyamide resin and a polyhydric alcohol with this particle size produces a superior product demonstrating greater thermal stability and durability than the polyamide resin alone.

  • Patent number: 9694715
Abstract: A seat assembly includes a removable vehicle seat having a front latch, a rear latch, and a seat mounting bracket adapted to be coupled to a vehicle floor. The front latch includes a striker receiving slot having a slot width, and the seat mounting bracket includes a front and rear striker, where the front striker is configured to be received in the receiving slot. The front striker includes an engagement portion having a flat, angled engagement surface in cross-section. In an installation position of the seat, the front latch receives the engagement portion with the engagement surface being substantially parallel to the receiving slot thereby providing for a clearance fit. In an installed position of the seat, the receiving slot is angled relative to the engagement surface such that the front striker engages opposing walls of the receiving slot thereby establishing an interference fit between the striker and front latch.

  • Patent number: 9118636
Abstract: Transfer of data files, such as large files for digital media, is performed through the intermediary of a gateway communication manager (GCM) that resides in an interface zone between external clients and an internal network. The external clients are registered with the GCM and request transfer of data files to the internal network. The GCM identifies a transfer agent to handle the transfer, and allocates a portion of shared bandwidth. If insufficient bandwidth is available or transfer agents are unavailable, the requested transfer may be placed in a queue and transfer occurs when bandwidth and agents can accommodate the request. The GCM may prioritize and re-prioritize transfers, such as based on the sender, content, and so forth. Multiple GCMs may manage transfers for external clients, and shared logs may be maintained to permit flexibility in management by the GCMs.

  • Patent number: 8045784
Abstract: A system and method for imaging and capturing information from checks and documents contained in a lockbox remittance. A computer workstation is used to generate and print a header sheet that includes information identifying the check. The header sheet is appended to the front of the documents and the document are imaged using a scanner. Identifying information from each of the documents is used to create a data record for each document. In parallel to the scanning of the documents, the checks are scanned and images are created for each of the checks. Additionally, identifying information from each of the checks (e.g., the check number, the amount, etc.) is manually input into a database, thus creating a data record for each check.
