There is also disclosed a silver halide X-ray photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a tabular silver halide emulsion prepared in accordance with the above process.

The present tabular silver halide particle-containing emulsion has high sensitivity and good granularity and is substantially free from fog.
