  • Publication number: 20240128480
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a separator for a fuel cell, which is stacked on a reaction layer including a membrane electrode assembly (MEA). The separator includes a plate body stacked on the reaction layer, a wave pattern provided on one surface of the plate body that faces the reaction layer, the wave pattern being configured to define a reaction channel disposed between the reaction layer and the plate body and provided in a first direction in which a reactant gas is supplied, so that the reactant gas flows along the reaction channel, and a land provided along a lateral end of the wave pattern and disposed to be in contact with the reaction layer, thereby obtaining an advantageous effect of improving performance and operational efficiency.

  • Patent number: 5917471
Abstract: A gray scale display method includes converting the binary code of conventional picture data into an optimal code, based on display system characteristics. Gray levels of an image to be displayed are error-diffused and displayed using frame rate modulation. In order to reduce the likelihood of saturation of the gray levels, the maximum value of data displayed according to the optimal code is greater than or equal to the maximum value of the picture data displayed according to a conventional binary code. In addition, the number of adjacent gray levels is minimized. As a result, the driving voltage for driving electrodes in a display device and picture cross talk are reduced.

  • Patent number: 5774103
Abstract: In a method for driving a matrix liquid crystal display (LCD), whereby the selection ratio of a scanning electrode is improved and the voltage magnitude variation is considerably reduced, the scanning electrode driving signals are made to overlap each other according to an orthogonal function to then be sequentially applied to adjacent scanning electrodes. The data electrode driving signals are made to change in their voltage level through the step of maintaining an intermediate voltage level in the overlap interval to then be applied to data electrodes in the alternative, or the scanning electrode driving signals having opposite polarity are periodically applied to adjacent scanning electrodes. Therefore, the selection ratio of scanning electrodes are improved and the generation of the waveform differential is minimized, thereby reducing the crosstalk generated in a picture.

  • Patent number: 5724058
Abstract: A gray scale display driving method of a matrix liquid crystal display (LCD) and a display driver implementing this method, can reduce the scanning and data electrode driving signal voltages and the driving voltage magnitude variation for the respective sub-frames and can improve the picture quality. The method includes the steps of determining an n-bit error-diffused value of N-bit picture data, where n is smaller than N, converting the N-bit picture data into an M-bit code, where M is larger than or equal to N, error-diffusing n-bits of the converted picture data, and displaying picture data of M-n bits, with n bits being error-diffused, as a picture by a gray display method.

  • Patent number: 5657041
Abstract: A method of driving a matrix liquid crystal display (LCD) panel can improve LCD response characteristics due to an improved duty ratio, by overlapping scanning electrode driving signals internally having a positive selection pulse and a negative compensation pulse sequentially by a predetermined interval, or, at the time of driving two lines, by applying a signal whose sequence of selection pulse and compensation pulse of the scanning electrode driving signal applied thereto are reversed and overlapping a predetermined interval thereof.
