  • Publication number: 20140154644
Abstract: A dental tracing apparatus including a first layer having a first surface and a second surface coated with an adhesive material; a second layer over the first surface, an edge portion of the second layer being substantially firmly attached to an edge portion of the first surface; and a removable third layer over the second surface of the first layer. The dental tracing apparatus is sized and shaped to be attached to a surface of a dental tray after the third layer is removed. The dental tracing apparatus receives tracing caused by an object via the second layer such that the tracing is marked on the dental tracing apparatus. The marked tracing is removable by separating the second layer from the first surface of the first layer and the lifted second layer is repositionable on the first surface of the first layer to receive further tracing.

  • Publication number: 20060284815
Abstract: An apparatus and method for driving a liquid crystal display device are disclosed. The apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel with pixels defined by data and gate lines. A gate driver provides different gate pulses to the odd-column pixels than to the even-column pixels. The gate pulses have different voltages and/or widths. Data drivers provide data voltages having a positive or negative polarity to the data lines. A timing controller controls the gate and data drivers and supplies gate clock pulses that have different voltages and/or widths to the gate driver.

  • Publication number: 20050073494
Abstract: A driving apparatus and a method for a liquid crystal display wherein a picture can be inspected by a specific image signal when an image signal is not applied is provided. In the driving apparatus, an image signal processor extracts a complex synchronizing signal and a first image signal from a complex image signal input from an external source. An image signal generator generates a second image signal. An input signal detector counts the pulses in the complex synchronizing signal to generate a selection signal. An image signal selector selectively outputs any one of the first image signal from the image signal processor and the second image signal from the image signal generator in response to the selection signal. A data driver applies an output image signal selected and output by the image signal selector to the liquid crystal display panel.
