  • Patent number: 11917255
Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for presenting media content in response to a channel change request are provided. In some implementations, methods for presenting media content in response to a channel change request are provided, the methods comprising: causing media content provided on a first channel to be presented in a first display area on a first screen; receiving, at a hardware processor, a request to switch to a second channel; in response to receiving the request to switch to the second channel, causing thumbnail content corresponding to the second channel to be presented in the first display area; determining whether media content provided on the second channel is ready for presentation; and in response to determining that the media content provided on the second channel is ready for presentation, causing the media content provided on the second channel to be presented in the first display area.

  • Patent number: 8889073
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for recovering residual salt from the reduced uranium metal. The apparatus comprising: an evaporating chamber accommodating mixed molten salt or a reduced uranium metal; a heating furnace surrounding the evaporating chamber to heat the mixed molten salt in the evaporating chamber; an insulator disposed over the evaporating chamber to block heat generated from the evaporating chamber, and including an evaporating pipe in a center thereof to move vapor generated from the evaporating chamber; a receiver disposed over the insulator to collect powder formed by condensing and solidifying vapor passing through the evaporating pipe; and a condenser disposed over the receiver to prevent the vapor passing through the evaporating pipe from leaking out of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6972108
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for metallizing uranium oxide and recovering uranium, which reacts uranium oxide with a lithium metal to product uranium metal powder, and filters the resulting product using a porous filter to separate the uranium metal powder from lithium chloride molten liquid to recover the uranium metal powder. The device includes a heating furnace including at least one first heating unit, and a reactor includes a reaction vessel having a discharging valve hole located at the center of a bottom thereof and a conical bottom tapered to the discharging valve hole, a sealing lid for sealing the reaction vessel airtight, an argon gas inlet port for feeding argon gas into the reactor therethrough, and an argon gas outlet port for venting argon gas from the reactor therethrough. A valve assembly controls the discharging valve hole of the reaction vessel, and a plurality of agitators mix a mixture in the reactor.
