  • Patent number: 11941747
Abstract: A method includes accessing a first object in a virtual environment, the first object representing a first asset at a first level of detail (LoD). A second object is generated to represent the first asset at a second LoD having decreased complexity. The method further includes determining a first importance value for the first asset and, based on the first importance value, selecting the first object to represent the first asset. Additionally, the method includes accessing a third object representing the second asset at the first LoD and generating a fourth object representing the second asset at the second LoD. The method further includes determining a second importance value, lower than the first importance value, for the second asset and selecting the fourth object to represent the second asset. The method further includes causing a client device to update a display of the virtual environment by transmitting the selected objects.

  • Patent number: 7954205
Abstract: The present invention discloses a clip retainer which includes a top surface having a groove and a bottom surface which has stopping ribs and a barb formed between the stopping ribs. The top surface and the stopping ribs of the bottom surface clamp a flange of a clip. A slope of an inclined plane of the barb in a slide-in direction of the clip is smaller than that of an inclined plane of the barb in a slide-out direction of the clip. Based on the above structure, the clip retainer can meet the function requirements of small slide-in force and large slide-out force of the clip and has a simple structure. Furthermore, the clip retainer can produce repeated insertion and extraction deformation and is very reliable to use.

  • Publication number: 20100248085
Abstract: The present invention relates to a flow field plate of a fuel cell with airflow guiding gaskets, comprising a flat plate and airflow guiding gaskets. Each side of the flat plate has a reaction area, which includes a plurality of ribs and a plurality of grooves. Two airflow guiding gasket are respectively covered on the two sides of the flat plate, and a central hollowed region of each airflow guiding gasket is corresponding to the reaction area. An inlet hole of the flat plate communicates with the hollowed region and each inlet of the grooves through an inlet trough of the airflow guiding gasket. An outlet hole of the flat plate communicates with the hollowed region and each outlet of the grooves through an outlet trough of the airflow guiding gasket. Thus, the present invention is capable of significantly reducing the volume of the fuel cell and lowering the weight.

  • Patent number: 7486143
Abstract: An embodiment of a circuit for biasing a transistor such as an amplifier transistor includes reference and bias nodes, and includes buffer, reference, and feedback stages. The reference node receives a reference current, and the bias node, which is for coupling to the transistor, carries a bias signal. The buffer stage buffers the reference node from the bias node. The reference stage generates the bias signal from the reference current, and the bias signal causes the transistor to conduct a bias current that is proportional to the reference current. And the feedback stage is coupled between the reference and bias nodes. As compared to known bias circuits, such a bias circuit may reduce the amplitude and duration of a transient overshoot in the bias current of a field-effect transistor when the DC component of the transistor's drain voltage transitions from one value to another value.

  • Publication number: 20070042239
Abstract: A fuel cell system has a distributor, at least one catalytic converter for the reformation reaction and a stack. When the fuel cell system has more than two catalytic converters for the reformation reaction a converging chamber can be added into the system to input the hydrogen gas generated by the catalytic converter for the reformation reaction to the stack. Therefore, the present invention can integrate the catalytic converter for the reformation reaction and the stack to reduce both the cost and fuel cell volume, and save fuel.
