Publication number: 20120199103Abstract: In a conventional high-pressure fuel pump, the interference fit part between a plunger and a retainer comes loose with time due to environmental factors and this reduces the clearance between the retainer and a tappet more than necessity, resulting in increase in the contact face pressure between the plunger and a cylinder when a side force acts on the plunger, which causes seizure between the plunger and the cylinder. In this invention, a protrusion protruding toward the tappet is provided around the through-hole for press-fitting the plunger, the through-hole provided in the center portion of the retainer. Since the clearance between the retainer and the tappet can sufficiently be kept even if the joint between the retainer and the plunger comes loose, the seizure between the plunger and the cylinder and the breakage of the plunger are less likely to occur even if the side force acts on the retainer.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 17, 2010Publication date: August 9, 2012Applicant: Hitachi Automotive Systems LtdInventors: Minoru Hashida, Hiroyuki Yamada, Masayuki Suganami, Sunao Takahashi, Toru Onose, Hideaki Yamauchi, Kazuichi Ishige

Publication number: 20080056914Abstract: A high-pressure fuel supply pump having a fuel relief path for connecting a high-pressure fuel path downstream of a discharge valve for discharging fuel pressurized in a pressurizing chamber to a low-pressure fuel path upstream of an inlet valve or the pressurizing chamber, a check valve being provided in the fuel relief path as a relief valve for allowing the fuel to flow only to the low-pressure fuel path or the pressurizing chamber, wherein an energy attenuating mechanism is provided in a discharge path on a side facing the discharge valve upstream of the relief valve in the fuel relief path so as to prevent an instantaneous pressure rise caused in the discharge path from propagating to the relief valve.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 8, 2007Publication date: March 6, 2008Applicant: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Satoshi USUI, Hiroyuki Yamada, Kenichiro Tokuo, Minoru Hashida, Takefumi Yamamura, Tohru Himoto, Sunao Takahashi

Patent number: 6342777Abstract: A time division duplex (TDD) portable telephone relay device (and TDD system employing the same) for use with a radio base station and a portable telephone terminal within a terminal building, includes first and second distributors, a synthesizer, a predetermined-size (e.g., relatively small, internal) base station section, a position detecting unit, a synchronous receive section, and an exclusive telephone line connecting unit. With such a structure, transmission/reception using a frequency channel, other than frequency channels assigned to a radio zone where the terminal building exists, is conducted between the portable telephone terminal within the terminal building and the radio base station through the predetermined-size base station section. The predetermined-size base station section executes the operation adapted to TDD based on a synchronous signal from the synchronous receive section.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 1998Date of Patent: January 29, 2002Assignee: Kokusai Electric Co., Ltd.Inventor: Sunao Takahashi

Patent number: 5063294Abstract: A converged ion beam apparatus wherein a very small beam spot can be formed with a high energy ion beam after passing a reduced route in which a type of the ion beam is classified. The device is incorporated in an apparatus wherein an ion beam from an accelerator is introduced in a spot to a specimen by way of an ion type classifying device, an objective collimator and a beam collector to perform reforming of a surface or an analysis of physical properties and/or composition or the like of a small area of the specimen. The objective collimator is disposed just on the downstream of the accelerator, and an analyzing component for analyzing an ion type and energy of a beam is interposed in a drift space in an object distance between the objective collimator and a quadruple pole magnetic lens. Several components of the apparatus are also improved including the quadruple pole magnetic lens, an objective slit device and a specimen chamber.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 1990Date of Patent: November 5, 1991Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Kobe Seiko ShoInventors: Yutaka Kawata, Ken-ichi Inoue, Kiyotaka Ishibashi, Akira Kobayashi, Koji Inoue, Norio Suzuki, Akio Arai, Kaneo Yamada, Keizo Tokushige, Hirofumi Fukuyama, Shigeto Adachi, Yukito Furukawa, Sunao Takahashi, Makoto Kimura
