Abstract: A system and an associated method for responding to a user's voice inquiry are disclosed. The system accepts the voice inquiry and obtains personal data regarding the user. The system then identifies potential subjects of interest in the voice inquiry from media content currently provided to the user through a device which has captured the voice inquiry, media content present in or capturing the user's surroundings, or media content previously provided to the user as responses to previous voice inquiries by the user. Next, the system determines at least one subject of interest based on at least one of the personal data and the user's previous voice inquiries. The system then presents a response related to the determined subject of interest to the user's voice inquiry.

Abstract: A system with an associated method for preloading advertisements by a server to a user's device is disclosed. In response to inquiries made by members of a user group, the system presents advertisements to the members and keeps a record of these presentations. Next, the system identifies those advertisements which have been frequently presented to the members, and preloads the identified advertisements on the device of a user who belongs to the user group. Subsequently, upon receiving a specific inquiry from the user's device, the system determines a response to the specific inquiry. When the determined response contains one of the preloaded advertisements, the system sends an instruction to the user's device to present the preloaded advertisement to the user.

Abstract: A facilitation and enhancement of interactions between a caller and a called party, such as a call center. The enhancement of interactions between a mobile device caller and a call center is by the communication of the mobile device caller's location and/or preferences to the call center. The communication can be in the form of a data structure stored on a computer-readable storage device, which may be transmitted from the mobile device caller to a call center controller. The data structure contains a caller identification entry, which allows the call center to match the data structure with a caller. In addition, a caller context entry associates additional data to the caller identification entry. The additional data includes at least one preference and/or location of the caller. Processor-based methods are disclosed to create, transmit, and/or utilize the data structure.

Abstract: A system and method are described for delivering to a member of an audience supplemental information related to presented media content. Media content is associated with media metadata that identifies active content elements in the media content and supported intents associated with those content elements. A member of an audience may submit input related to an active content element. The audience input is compared to media metadata to determine whether supplemental information can be identified that would be appropriate to deliver to the audience member based on that person's input. In some implementations, audience input includes audio data of an audience's spoken input regarding the media content.

Abstract: Co-products from juice extraction, in particular for use in beverage and food products to enhance the metabolic and gut health benefits, including an enhanced feeling of satiety, a reduction of postprandial glucose response, reduction of postprandial insulin response, an increased fermentability by colonic microlfora, an increase short-chain fatty acid production in the colon provided to the consumer are provided. The co-product has a number average particle size of between 1 and 2000 microns, a total polyphenol content of at least 2500 parts per million, a moisture content of between 70% and 85% by weight, and a combined peel and seed content between 0.01% and 20% by weight.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a processor includes a multi-level dispatch circuit configured to supply operations for execution by multiple parallel execution pipelines. The multi-level dispatch circuit may include multiple dispatch buffers, each of which is coupled to multiple reservation stations. Each reservation station may be coupled to a respective execution pipeline and may be configured to schedule instruction operations (ops) for execution in the respective execution pipeline. The sets of reservation stations coupled to each dispatch buffer may be non-overlapping. Thus, if a given op is to be executed in a given execution pipeline, the op may be sent to the dispatch buffer which is coupled to the reservation station that provides ops to the given execution pipeline.

Abstract: A processor-based method for composing an electronic service solicitation using mobile device call logs. The service, when delivered to a mobile device, can be a promotion of a third-party mobile device application, the presentment of a coupon, or the administration of a caller experience survey. The service is delivered in connection with the user making a call to a particular number on the mobile device. The method for composing the solicitation includes selecting a business number, selecting a group of wireless subscribers, sending an information request to the mobile devices of the selected wireless subscribers, receiving affirmative responses from the selected wireless subscribers who recently called the selected business number, counting the affirmative responses, and using the count for composing the solicitation.

Abstract: A system and method are described for engaging an audience in a conversational advertisement. A conversational advertising system converses with an audience using spoken words. The conversational advertising system uses a speech recognition application to convert an audience's spoken input into text and a text-to-speech application to transform text of a response to speech that is to be played to the audience. The conversational adverting system follows an advertisement script to guide the audience in a conversation.
