  • Patent number: 11960936
Abstract: The subject matter described herein provides systems and techniques to address the challenges of growing hardware and workload heterogeneity using a Warehouse-Scale Computer (WSC) design that improves the efficiency and utilization of WSCs. The WSC design may include an abstraction layer and an efficiency layer in the software stack of the WSC. The abstraction layer and the efficiency layer may be designed to improve job scheduling, simplify resource management, and drive hardware-software co-optimization using machine learning techniques and automation in order to customize the WSC for applications at scale. The abstraction layer may embrace platform/hardware and workload diversity through greater coordination between hardware and higher layers of the WSC software stack in the WSC design. The efficiency layer may employ machine learning techniques at scale to realize hardware/software co-optimizations as a part of the autonomous WSC design.

  • Patent number: 11856049
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing and displaying information for multiple applications on a computing device are disclosed herein. An example method includes a mobile device retrieving, from a pinboard server, pin blocks corresponding to applications. The mobile device may then filter the pin blocks based on (i) a geolocation of the mobile device, (ii) a user profile activated on the mobile device, (iii) a time of day, (iv) a date, or (v) an activity associated with a user. The mobile device may then display the filtered pin blocks.

  • Patent number: 9264485
Abstract: A method and system for synchronizing and prioritizing messages from separate systems includes receiving a message from a computer network having a unique identifier. Next, this message having the unique identifier may be compared to at least one of a rule and a formula stored in a database. If the message with the unique identifier matches at least one of a rule and a formula stored in the database based on the unique identifier, then the message may be supplemented with an action identifier. Subsequently, the message may be prioritized relative to one or more other messages based on at least one of a source identifier and the action identifier. The message may then be transmitted to a notifier. The notifier may relay the message over the communications network to at least one of an application content provider (ACP) and/or a target application upon receiving a request for transmitting messages.

  • Patent number: 7403516
Abstract: A packet switched IP call to a mobile user device in a wireless network is supported where the mobile user does not have a static IP address and where the mobile user is not engaged in communications in which an IP address is currently assigned. The originating party utilizes the directory number of the mobile user to initiate the packet switched call with at least an originating packet being directed to a home agent in the wireless network. The home agent assigns a temporary IP address to the mobile user's UE and translates packets addressed to the user's directory number to the assigned IP address. A switching node forwards the assigned IP addressed packets to the corresponding UE.
