    Abstract: The present invention relates to a syringe system that allows rapid conversion between a needle/syringe system and a needleless/syringe system and in doing so allows an operator to move seamlessly between both systems, while minimizing needle stick risk. In this way, an operator may rapidly access medication bottles requiring a needle puncture and access needleless tubing systems requiring a needleless interface.
