Patents by Inventor Suneeta S. Neogi

Suneeta S. Neogi has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 9988722
Abstract: A method of surface coating a metallic object, including removing substantially all of the existing silver sulfide tarnish if present, ultrasonically cleaning the object with immersion in a solvent, uniformly dispersing selected nanoparticles over the surface of the object by sonicating the object in an ultrasonic bath containing the selected nanoparticles. The invention further includes quickly rinsing the object with solvent upon removal from the ultrasonic bath to inhibit formation of large agglomerates, drying the object with a flow of gas, optically inspecting the object for the presence of agglomeration and applying a barrier layer conformal coating and a protective layer conformal coating.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 12, 2014
Date of Patent: June 5, 2018
    Assignee: Serenity Technologies, Inc.
Inventors: Suneeta S. Neogi, Jayant Neogi
  • Patent number: 9108888
Abstract: A method to apply nano-crystalline diamond onto a selected substrate, including preparing Nanodiamond slurry of nanodiamond particles dispersed in a medium. The medium may include a liquid or a sol-gel. The selected substrate is immersed in the Nanodiamond slurry for a predetermined period of time. Then the substrate is removed from the slurry. The substrate is then dried with a flow of inert gas. The substrate is left coated with a coating of the nanodiamond particles that are highly adherently held by van der Waals forces.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 20, 2009
Date of Patent: August 18, 2015
Inventors: Suneeta S. Neogi, Jayant Neogi
