Abstract: Provided are a contactless motion device including a contactless motion game device or a contactless kiosk. The contactless motion device according to an exemplary embodiment includes a substrate including at least one hole, a body unit including a sensor unit, which is disposed around the hole in a plan view, and a control unit connected to the sensor unit. The sensor unit includes a first sensor, which transmits a first signal, and a second sensor, which receives the first signal, the control unit is configured to determine whether a target object is inserted in the hole, based on the first signal received by the second sensor, and the hole completely penetrates the substrate in a thickness direction.

Abstract: A video displaying apparatus and a method are provided. The video displaying apparatus includes a signal input unit which receives a video signal comprising video information and synchronization information of a video formed by a plurality of pixels; a video displaying unit which generates an electron beam based on of the video information to display the video; a deflecting unit which performs a scanning operation by deflecting the electron beam based on the synchronization information; and a video correcting unit which corrects the video information so that locations of displayed pixels corresponding to the corrected video information coincide with locations of pixels corresponding to the video information before the correction. With this configuration, a deflection correcting circuit is removed to reduce power loss and a production cost. In addition, video quality can be improved by digital deflection correction.

Abstract: In accordance with a technique for stabilizing the picture output in a video display apparatus, the resolution of the video mode supplied from a PC, for example, is converted into a resolution of a pre-set video mode, thereby making it possible to output stabilized picture. The method for stabilizing a picture output in a video display apparatus includes the following steps. A power-on is recognized, and then a first power control signal is outputted. A counting is carried out for N seconds by an internal counter after outputting the first power control signal, and then a second power control signal is outputted. Then, counting is carried out for N/4 seconds by an internal counter after the outputting of the second power control signal, and control data and a clock signal are then outputted. In this manner, the format converter module and the circuit blocks are sequentially drive.

Abstract: A method of controlling a television in which a reservation program is registered by a settop box, and the settop box. The method includes the steps of: detecting program guide information from a video signal received by the settop box in response to a user's request for a display of the program guide information, and displaying the program guide information on a monitor of a television connected to the settop box; checking a viewing time of the reservation program; if a present time is the viewing time of the reservation program, turning on the settop box; turning on the television by using communication ports of the settop box and the television; and displaying the reservation program received through the settop box on the television monitor.

Abstract: An apparatus for performing programmed recording using broadcast program (BP) data in a two tuner system and a method therefor. The apparatus includes a switching portion which receives the output signal of a first tuner, the output signal of a second tuner, and an externally applied demodulated video signal, switches the input signals according to a switching control signal, and outputs a TV viewing signal, a BP data detecting signal, and a VCR recording signal. A BP data processor receives the BP data detecting signal, stores the BP data changed from the previously stored BP data during a BP data storing period and checks whether the BP data of the programmed recording is input during a discriminating BP data comparing period according to the BP data control signal. A TV signal processor receives, signal processes, and outputs the TV viewing signal to a monitor. A video recording processor receives the VCR recording signal and performs recording.
