  • Patent number: 6035783
Abstract: A fuze device for use with a detonator on munitions. A cup and ogive assembly includes an ogive post for aft axial movement upon impact of the device and activation of a spitback lead on the cup. An ogive post activates a first firing pin when the ogive is crushed. A first safe and arm (S&A) device is aligned with the centerplate assembly to provide a first detonator in both the safe and the armed condition by movement of a rotor. A second firing pin is positioned below the first S&A device. It has a blowthrough hole for alignment of the first detonator with the spitback lead. A second S&A device is below the first S&A device, and has a second detonator and rotor that rotates during spin to an armed position to expose the second detonator to the second firing pin. The second rotor is sized and shaped to always permit alignment of the first detonator with the spitback lead.

  • Patent number: 5569981
Abstract: A ballast device for a compact fluorescent lamp, comprises a ballast case including upper case 10-1, a lower case, and PCBs. The upper case has a incandescent lamp base 19 and the lower case has a socket substrate 11 having a compact fluorescent lamp socket. A bottom portion of the upper case is assembled with said lower case having a socket substrate 11. The PCBs includes a first PCB 15 where electronic circuit components 15-2 are mounted on, having a first receiving portion for allowing for the fluorescent lamp socket to be inserted in, and a second PCB 16 where a electronic circuit components 16-2 are mounted, and the mounted components 16-2 having long height are located in center area of the second PCB 16 to be located inside the bulb base 19.

  • Patent number: 5512797
Abstract: In-line electron guns for color picture tube improving the resolution of the color picture tube. The guns not only exhibit the special quality of a large aperture of lens but also achieve the desired mechanical strength of electrodes by arranging .OR right.-shaped inner electrode plates in the envelope electrodes respectively. Each of first and second accelerating/focusing electrodes for focusing three electron beams of the electron beam sources on the phosphor screen includes an envelope electrode and an electrostatic field control electrode placed in the envelope electrode. The envelope electrode includes a predetermined length of hollow envelope part and a predetermined width of rim part extending from an edge of the hollow envelope part. The electrostatic field control electrode includes a plate electrode sided by predetermined width of blades at opposed sides thereof. This blade sided plate electrode is holed at its center so as to have a center beam passing opening.

  • Patent number: 5474326
Abstract: An inflatable air-belt comprises an air tube and a sheath surrounding the air tube. While the sheath has a flat strip shape when the air-belt is used as an usual flat belt, the air tube is inflated when a predetermined impact is applied to a sensor for the air-belt. The air tube may be folded toward its center along its both sides. The sheath may be formed with cut perforated lines along its both sides. The sheath may comprise two flat strips which are attached to each other by means of hook-loop fastener attached to longitudinal edges of the flat strips. The air-belt is provided at its middle portion with a locking buckle assembly for securing the middle portion of the air-belt to the vehicle body. The locking buckle assembly has a locking buckle fixed to the vehicle body and a buckle tongue connected to the air-belt.
