Abstract: Provided is a portable communication device including a first housing, a second housing rotatably coupled with the first housing, and a hinge portion provided between the first housing and the second housing to stepwise rotate the second housing toward or away from the first housing, in which display units are disposed on inner and outer sides of the first housing and the second housing, respectively, such that the display units on the inner and outer surfaces of the housings may be used independently or in conjunction to provide for larger display screens.

Abstract: A snap hinge device for a folding-type portable terminal is provided with a gap between an outer face of a hinge shaft and an inner face of a second cam so that the outer face of the hinge shaft and the inner face of the second cam are compelled to strike into each other an generate and aural snap by an urging of an elastic member at the time of opening/closing the folder of the portable terminal. As a result of the aural snap, users experience a feeling of use at the time of opening/closing the folder, and a sense of comfort therefrom.
