  • Patent number: 9562607
Abstract: A system for artificially interlocking an automatic transmission includes an engine RPM sensor and a vehicle speed sensor. A pair of ultrasonic sensors measure a relative velocity of a vehicle to a neighbor vehicle, and an angle measuring sensor measures a degree of an angle variation of a steering wheel. An ECU determines whether an accelerator pedal is erroneously operated by monitoring sensing signals of the engine RPM sensor and the vehicle speed sensor, to determine whether the accelerator pedal is erroneously operated by using sensing signals of the ultrasonic sensors, and to determine whether the accelerator pedal is erroneously operated by monitoring a signal of the angle measuring sensor. A transmission control unit (TCU) performs an artificial interlock control of the automatic transmission when a determination signal, which informs that the accelerator pedal is erroneously operated, is received from the ECU.

  • Publication number: 20160217745
Abstract: A method for controlling a display panel includes calculating an on-pixel ratio based on gamma information corresponding to image information, providing maximum current information based on a dimming level, calculating an average current of the display panel based on the on-pixel ratio and the maximum current information, and providing pixel average current information for each of a plurality of pixels in the display panel. The on-pixel ratio is based on the turned-on pixels of the pixels in the display panel. The pixel average current information is determined based on the average current of the display panel.

  • Publication number: 20150130866
Abstract: An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display and method for driving the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the OLED display includes a plurality of pixels and a compensation unit configured to receive first image data including a gray scale value for each pixel. The compensation unit accumulates the first image data to generate accumulated data, selects a data compensation method for each pixel based at least in part on the accumulated data, and compensates the gray scale value included in the first image data for each pixel based at least in part on the selected data compensation method to generate second image data. The OLED display also includes a data driver configured to convert the second image data into data signals and apply the data signals to the pixels.
