  • Publication number: 20200407730
Abstract: The present invention relates to a promoter system inducing expression of 3-hydroxypropionic acid (3-HP) and a method of biologically producing 3-HP using the same. To improve production of 3-HP in a biological manner, continuous synthesis of new enzymes having enzyme activity is necessary. As a result of screening 3-HP reactive transcription regulators and 3-HP reactive promoters from several microorganisms including Pseudomonas denitrificans, it was confirmed that the transcriptions regulations and promoters are composed of LysR proteins and particular gene nucleotide sequences binding to the LysR proteins. Therefore, the 3-HP inducible system is expected to be effectively used to regulate 3-HP metabolic pathways.

  • Patent number: 10693151
Abstract: This invention relates to a bipolar plate for a fuel cell having a controlled structure of carbon materials and a method of manufacturing the same, the method including obtaining a masterbatch by mixing a first carbon material powder having a size ranging from 0.1 to 200 ?m with a polymer resin, forming a masterbatch powder by crushing the masterbatch, preparing a conductive composition by mixing the masterbatch powder with a second carbon material powder having a size ranging from 300 ?m to 1 mm, and manufacturing a bipolar plate by subjecting the conductive composition to compression molding. Thereby, carbon materials in a powder phase having different sizes can be uniformly dispersed via a masterbatch to thus shorten a conductive path, thereby decreasing electrical resistivity, and furthermore, dispersion in the polymer resin can be improved, thereby increasing flexural strength.

  • Publication number: 20200196435
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a multi-structural high-heat-dissipation part having the controlled packing density of a carbon material and to a multi-structural high-heat-dissipation part manufactured thereby, the method including preparing a mixture by mixing a binder pitch with a carbon material including a first carbon material powder and a second carbon material powder having a smaller diameter than the diameter of the first carbon material powder, forming a compact from the mixture using a hot-forming process, and producing a graphitized pitch/carbon material compact by subjecting the compact to graphitization through heat treatment and cooling. Thereby, the packing density of the carbon material can be improved through bimodal distribution using pieces of carbon material having different diameters, thus increasing thermal conductivity in in-plane and through-plane directions and strength.

  • Publication number: 20200113836
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of preparing sustained-release drug microparticles allowing easy release control. According to the method of the present invention, as can be seen in Examples of the present invention, an initial release amount may be easily controlled by simply adjusting the evaporation temperature of a solvent in a conventional method of preparing microparticles. In addition, since no additional process is required, a drug loading rate may be significantly increased, and since high temperature is not required, the stability of a drug that is weak to heat may be ensured.

  • Patent number: 10523336
Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and a method for resetting a transimpedance amplifier for low-power passive optical network equipment for improving the synchronization performance of an uplink burst signal by resetting the transimpedance amplifier for amplifying a received signal of an optical transceiver at a time point at which a frame of the uplink burst signal ends. There is an effect of improving the burst-mode clock and data reconstruction performance through simple analysis of a bit pattern and thus reducing a guard time or a number of repetitions of preambles by accurately identifying the time point at which the frame of the uplink burst signal ends without using a frame data analysis scheme to reset the transimpedance amplifier.

  • Patent number: 10484096
Abstract: Provided are a relay apparatus and a relay method for a passive optical network so as to largely extend a communicable distance while maintaining compatibility with existing network components. In the case of applying an optical relay to the passive optical network, a delay time is reduced by applying the optical relay so that entire transmission delay time considering the increased delay time may be within a preamble period of the upstream burst stream, thereby rapidly increasing a transmission distance of the passive optical network by using the optical relay.
