  • Patent number: 11914145
Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention is a floating hologram system. The floating hologram system includes a diffuser configured to form a projection image using light beams transmitted from an image transmitter and diffuse the formed image, and a holographic optical element on which the image diffused from the diffuser is incident and which generates a virtual image floating at a position a predetermined distance therefrom and has a convex lens characteristic. A distance between the diffuser and the holographic optical element is determined based on a focal length of the holographic optical element and a distance from the holographic optical element to the virtual image.

  • Patent number: 8918945
Abstract: A toothbrush having needle-shaped bristles on the head portion is configured such that the differences in height between the longer and shorter bristles is 1 to 4 mm, the end points of the longer bristles are 0.01 to 0.03 mm in diameter, the end points of the shorter bristles are 0.03 to 0.08 mm in diameter, the taper lengths of the longer bristles are 4 to 8 mm, the taper lengths of the shorter bristles are 2 to 6 mm, and the differences in taper length between the longer and shorter bristles is 1 to 4 mm. The toothbrush provides superior teeth and gum contact force unique to a toothbrush having needle-shaped bristles and at the same time also provides superior cleaning performance for the surface of teeth thanks to the action of the shorter bristles having relatively large diameters at end points and relatively short taper lengths.

  • Patent number: 8522389
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a needle-shaped bristle having a short taper length. The method includes preparing a bundle of toothbrush bristles by mixing a polyester resin (a polyester resin other than a PTT resin) and a PTT resin in a ratio of 90˜40 to 10˜60 and spinning the mixture thereof; cutting the bundle of toothbrush bristles; and tapering the cut bundle of toothbrush bristles by immersing it into a chemical. According to the present invention, since needle-shaped bristles having a taper length of 6 mm or less can be efficiently obtained, the needle-shaped bristles can be implanted even in an anchorless toothbrush.

  • Patent number: 8403425
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of tapering a toothbrush bristle which increases production efficiency. The method includes the steps of cutting bundles of toothbrush bristles; and non-directionally immersing the entire cut bundles of toothbrush bristles into a chemical solution to taper both sides of the toothbrush bristles. According to the present invention, the production efficiency of a needle-shaped bristle is increased approximately three-fold, and the loss of raw materials is greatly decreased because several processes are not performed.

  • Patent number: 8336967
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of tapering bristles for toothbrushes and a toothbrush having bristles manufactured using the method. One method disclosed in the present invention includes setting bristles made of polyester in a head insert, and fastening the bristles to the head insert by thermally welding portions of the bristles, protruding from a back surface of the head insert, to the head insert. The method further includes coupling the head insert to a toothbrush body and tapering ends of the bristles by immersing the bristles in a chemical. The bristles can be securely set in the toothbrush body without an anchor. Furthermore, polyester bristles, which could not be set in toothbrushes having variously shaped setting rows due to excessively high stiffness, can be set in these types of toothbrush by the toothbrush manufacturing method of the present invention.

  • Patent number: 8186765
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of manufacturing a toothbrush having needle-shaped bristles and a toothbrush manufactured using the method. The method of the present invention includes the step of grinding bristles, which have been set in a head part of a toothbrush, using a grinder provided with protrusions (11) having heights ranging from 1.5 mm to 7 mm. According to the manufacturing method of the present invention, a toothbrush having needle-shaped bristles can be manufactured without a separate chemical immersion process such that the thicknesses of the end points of the needle-shaped bristles range from 0.01 mm to 0.03 mm and the lengths of the tapered portions thereof range from 3 mm to 9 mm. Furthermore, because the process is simplified, the time required for production and the defective proportion is markedly reduced. As well, in the present invention, materials other than polyester can be used as the material for the bristles, unlike the conventional arts, in which this is impossible.

  • Patent number: 8136889
Abstract: The present invention provides a needle-shaped bristle and a method of manufacturing the needle-shaped bristle. The manufacturing method of the present invention includes the steps of cutting and removing a packing sheet, which is wound around a bundle of bristles, by a length ranging from 30 mm to 50 mm from a first end thereof, and grinding first ends of the bristles using a rotating grinder. The manufacturing method further includes steps of packing the first end of the bundle of bristles, from which the packing sheet is removed, using a packing sheet, cutting the bundle of bristles to a length ranging from 22 mm to 32 mm, and immersing a second end of the cut bundle of bristles, thus tapering second ends of the bristles. The needle-shaped bristle has an advantage of realizing a reduction in the proportion of defective products.

  • Patent number: 8029069
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of manufacturing a toothbrush having needle-shaped bristles, and a toothbrush manufactured by the method. The toothbrush manufacturing method of the present invention includes the step of partially tapering ends of bristles, which are made of polyester and are set in a toothbrush body, through a physical grinding process, and the step of completing of a process of tapering the partially tapered bristles by immersing the partially tapered bristles in a chemical. The present invention makes it possible for toothbrush bristles to be tapered through a simple process. Furthermore, the present invention solves conventional difficulties occurring in tapering bristles after setting them in toothbrush bodies.

  • Publication number: 20110233988
Abstract: A method for tapering the bristle of a toothbrush using grinding drums which have protrusions with a height of between 1.5 to 7.0 mm, and which rotate in the vertical and horizontal directions. The method includes a step of connecting the grinding drums in parallel, such that the grinding drums are arranged in sequence wherein the heights of the protrusions of each of the grinding drums are gradually decreased, and a step of enabling the toothbrush with a non-tapered bristle to pass through each of the grinding drums in series such that the bristle can be ground. The method of the present invention produces highly tapered bristle having a tapered length of 5 mm or longer and an end thickness of 0.02 mm or less even without immersing the bristle into chemicals, and prevents thermal deformations which may otherwise occur in the tapering process performed by a mechanical method.

  • Patent number: 7938492
Abstract: Disclosed are a toothbrush and a method of producing the same. The toothbrush of the present invention includes a pressure relief unit installed in a head part of the toothbrush. The unit has a plate shape and a predetermined size sufficient to cover bristles set in the head part. In the present invention, the head part is thin, and the bristles are set in the head part without using a wire. Furthermore, the present invention is easily adapted for mass production using inexpensive equipment. Also, the pressure relief unit serves as a reinforcing unit. Therefore, the head part is prevented from breaking during use despite having a reduced thickness.
