Abstract: This invention relates to a method of manufacturing non-quenched and tempered steel having an ultrafine grained pearlite structure, including hot forging a steel material so as to be high-temperature compression deformed, thus obtaining a hot forged body; rapidly cooling the hot forged body to a low-temperature pearlite transformation range, thus obtaining a supercooled hot forged body; isothermally holding the supercooled hot forged body in the low-temperature pearlite transformation range so as to be isothermally transformed; and air-cooling the hot forged body; and to non-quenched and tempered steel manufactured thereby.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a flexible display to display an image; a bending measurement unit to measure a bending value of a portion of the flexible display; and a display control unit to correct an image based on the bending value and to control the flexible display to display the corrected image. In a method for displaying a corrected image, a bending value of a portion of a flexible display is measured, a bent shape of the flexible display is estimated using the bending value, an image is corrected based on the bent shape such that the image is viewed as a planar image of a virtual planar display arranged perpendicular to a viewing direction, and the corrected image is displayed.

Abstract: A technology is provided that improves reliability of traffic information guidance by reflecting traffic information for each turning direction. A system of providing traffic information with intersection turning information includes a vehicle information collection unit is configured to collect vehicle information and a control unit is configured to calculate general link speed, travelling speed for each turning direction and link speed for each turning direction at an intersection using the collected vehicle information.

Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for controlling program conversion according to program protection information. The method for controlling conversion of a broadcasting program includes: demultiplexing a broadcasting program into broadcasting program data and program protection information; encrypting the broadcasting program data based on distribution condition of the program protection information when recordation of the broadcasting program data is requested; and recording the encrypted broadcasting program data.

Abstract: A terminal includes an image input unit, an image output unit, and a controller to transmit image frames generated by the image input unit to the image output unit in real time if a preview mode is activated. If an object is selected within an image displayed on the screen of the image output unit, the controller identifies the selected object, detects an image frame, in which an object matched to the identified object is present, processes the detected image frame, and transmits the processed image frame to the image output unit so that an image can be edited before the photographed image is recorded.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for controlling/adjusting volume, which can set multiple volume modes having different volume intervals and control volume by a volume interval of a corresponding volume mode according to a given circumstance in an electronic device having a volume change function. The method includes detecting a volume change event; when the volume change event is a volume mode change, changing a current volume mode to a volume mode corresponding to the volume change event; and when the volume change event is a volume value change, controlling volume up/down in response to the volume change event.

Abstract: A touch-screen display device includes a touch panel and a display panel. The touch panel includes a signal terminal portion transmitting a coordinate signal corresponding to a touch position. The display panel is disposed under the touch panel, and includes a display area and a peripheral area that surrounds the display area. An image is displayed in the display area. A first terminal portion is disposed in the peripheral area and electrically connected to the signal terminal portion. Thus, the first terminal portion is formed on the display panel, and thus the coordinate signal may be directly transmitted to a main flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) through the first terminal portion, so that the coordinate signal may be stably transmitted.

Abstract: The electric cord of a regular earphone often gets tangled and twisted when it is routinely used. That leads a user to make an effort to ravel it out more often than not. The electric cord of the Fixable-Cord earphone presented here is capable of being fixed to any shape because of the special iron wire embedded in the electric cord. Since the iron wire embedded can be modified to any shapes and maintained as it is, the users do not have to make an effort to unravel the tangled wire every time when they use it. They can keep it neat just by winding the electric cord on a tape recorder. This property provides another advantages also.

Abstract: An integral type dielectric filter is disclosed, in which the insertion loss is minimized, and the damping characteristics desired by the user are satisfied. The dielectric filter includes a dielectric block having first and second faces facing toward each other and having a plurality of side faces. A ground electrode is coated on the entire faces of the dielectric block except the first face. A plurality of through holes pass through the first and second faces, with their surfaces being coated with a conductive material. Input and output electrodes are formed on a face of the dielectric block insulatingly from the ground electrode, for forming an electromagnetic coupling with internal electrodes of the plurality of the through holes.
