Abstract: A method of providing a Push-To-Talk (PTT) service is provided. In a PTT service provided through a PTT server to a PTT portable terminal, the PTT portable terminal requests termination of its participation in a PTT group call during the PTT group call takes place among at least three members, requests recording of the PTT group call to the PTT server, and ends a PTT application program. When the PTT group call is terminated among the remaining members, the PTT portable terminal receives from the PTT server a notification message indicating that the PTT group call has been recorded and plays the recorded PTT group call.

Abstract: A method for performing a push to talk (PTT) communication service in a portable terminal. The method comprises entering a PTT communication mode and providing a PTT application, when a function key and an abbreviated number key for performing the PTT communication service are input to the portable terminal and performing the PTT communication service based on subscriber information of the PTT communication service corresponding to the input abbreviated numbers. Several steps of key inputs and menu selections can be removed because, the method requires only a few abbreviated number for reflecting all the necessary steps stored previously in the memory such that it can provide an improved convenience and simplicity of the operation for the PTT communication service to the users.

Abstract: An image sensor equipped photographing apparatus and a picture photographing method thereof are provided. The picture photographing method includes generating image data from an image signal output by an image sensor, storing the image data, outputting the image data as a preview image data, inputting a photographing signal to process the image data into a photographed image, and photographing an image by transforming the preview image data into the photographed image. The picture photographing method and apparatus provide a photographed image at the moment a shutter key is pressed, thereby providing an accurate photographed image at the user's desired moment.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for searching a moving picture in a portable terminal. When fast forward/rewind functions are performed in a moving picture play mode, search time for displaying the progress of fast forward/rewind and actual search time for performing fast forward/rewind in the moving picture play mode are matched to each other. When fast forward or rewind are selected in a moving picture play mode of the portable terminal, a first search time for displaying progress of fast forward and a second search time for performing fast forward are compared and the search time of at least one of the first search time and the second search time is adjusted by the difference.

The method includes the steps of selecting one called user with whom a calling user wants to communicate through one-to-one communication from a PTT communication group of members that are taking part in the PTT group communication, performing a voice-record operation, if a predetermined Push To Data (PTD)-sending operation is executed for the one-to-one communication, and transmitting the voice-recorded PTD data to a PTT server which then transfers the voice-recorded PTD data to a called mobile communication terminal of the selected called user for the one-to-one communication. The PTT group communication allows two terminals to communicate with each other by a one-two-one scheme even while the PTT group communication is progressing.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for connecting a phone call during a Push To Talk (PTT) call traffic in a mobile communication system. The method comprises the steps of searching for a subscriber information of a selected current subscriber from both a PTT subscriber information and a subscriber group list, if a predetermined phone call key has been input; determining if the subscriber information of the selected current subscriber which has been searched from the PTT subscriber information and the subscriber group list is matched to a subscriber information stored in an address registry to confirm the matched subscriber information of the address registry; and terminating the PTT session of the PTT call traffic, connecting the phone call to the selected current subscriber's phone number based on the matched subscriber information of the address registry to perform the phone call traffic.
