    Abstract: An apparatus and method for processing image data are provided. Using the method of the present invention, image data output from an image sensor can be rapidly processes and the necessary amount of buffer memory can be reduced. To this end, first image data of one frame is processed and converted into second image data in an image sensor part. The converted second image data is stored in a plural buffer memory having a plurality of storage areas. The second image data is sequentially read from the plural buffer memory, and then encoded.

A system is disclosed having an Internet connected computer for generating a status information request signal in response to an input command, sending the generated status information request signal over the Internet, receiving information corresponding to the status information request signal over the Internet and displaying the received information. The mobile terminal stores the status information in the form of a table, and detects and transmits the information in response to the status information request signal sent from the user computer. A Web server is disclosed for transferring the status information request signal and the status information between the mobile terminal and computer.

The program upgrade apparatus includes a first memory for storing a reference version of the program and at least one upgrade package; a second memory for loading an upgrade version of the program; a communication unit for enabling the mobile terminal to communicate with an external system; and a control unit for controlling the communication unit to download the upgrade package in response to an upgrade notification message from the external system, installing the upgrade package within the first memory, generating an upgrade version of the program by merging the upgrade package and the reference version in response to an install command, and operating the mobile terminal with the upgraded version of the program.

    Abstract: A fusion memory device and method that is capable of storing binary data in a compressed format and reading out the compressed binary data in a decompressed format is provided. The memory controller controlling the secondary memory to buffer the binary data downloaded from a host device and the compressor compressing the binary data buffered with the secondary memory in a writing mode.
