    Abstract: A method for controlling battery banks may include measuring bank voltages of the battery banks, determining a first contact resistance of one or more internal resistance components for each of the battery banks, determining a second contact resistance of one or more external resistance components for each of the battery banks, determining a contact resistance for each of the battery banks based on the first contact resistance and the second contact resistance, determining each of compensation bank voltages by subtracting a voltage drop due to a corresponding one of the contact resistances from a respective one of the bank voltages, and controlling the battery banks based on at least one of the bank voltages and the compensation bank voltages.
