  • Publication number: 20220388496
Abstract: Disclosed herein are an emergency operating system and an emergency operating method for a hybrid vehicle with a damaged bearing of an engine, which are capable of preventing a bearing from being further damaged due to a drive motor and a hybrid starter and generator (HSG) when damage to the bearing installed in an engine is detected and capable of driving the hybrid vehicle and which include a bearing damage detection operation, an engine driving maintaining operation, a first state of charge (SOC) comparison operation, and a first emergency operating operation.

  • Patent number: 11384707
Abstract: A method for sensing damage to a bearing of an engine using a vibration signal may sense the damage to the bearing even without a sensor for directly sensing the damage to the bearing using a frequency signal input to a knocking sensor from the engine for each traveling state (acceleration traveling, cruise traveling, deceleration traveling) of a vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20030205215
Abstract: An engine idle speed control device enhances engine cold-start performance even in engines of large displacement. The device reduces noise created by intersecting air flows after bypassing the throttle valve. The device includes first and second passages, each mounted on a throttle body for enabling air flow bypassing the throttle valve, an ISA so mounted as to control the opening of the first passage, and temperature valve unit so mounted as to control the opening of the second passage in response to engine temperature.
