According an embodiment, the apparatus includes a controller configured to receive a request of a path change, the controller configured to control the path change from a current path to the request path among the multiple reproduction paths by identifying path information in an entry point map, the path information associated with an entry point in the video data, and the entry point map having an entry point fine table including fine information of at least one entry point and an entry point coarse table including coarse information of the at least one entry point, the fine information and coarse information identifying a presentation time and an address for the at least one entry point.

Through the concentrated summary information, play list related information such as thumbnails can be displayed fast.
