The chassis base includes a first plate to which the plasma display panel is attached. A second plate is disposed to face the first plate and is adjacent to the first plate, the driving circuit being mounted to the second plate. A reinforcing member is disposed between the first plate and the second plate and connects the first and second plates.

The heat absorbing member may absorb the heat generated by the electronic device and transmitted to the protecting member.     Abstract: A Plasma Display Panel (PDP) includes: a panel adapted to display images using a plasma discharge; a chassis base attached to the panel and adapted to support the panel; a circuit board adapted to supply signals to electrodes of the panel; a signal transmission unit adapted to electrically connect the electrodes of the panel to the circuit board, and including at least one circuit device; and a chassis bed adapted to support the signal transmission unit. The chassis bed includes at least a first ventilation hole adapted to facilitate air flow therethrough to remove heat generated by the at least one circuit device. The heat generated by the circuit device can be dissipated effectively, and overheating of the circuit board is prevented, and the circuit board can operate stably.

    Abstract: A plasma display apparatus is capable of enhancing the heat dissipating ability of a plasma display panel, and of reducing the total weight of the plasma display apparatus.
