The optical units block at least a part of the light in the closing location.

Abstract: Disclosed are a biosensor, a method of producing the same, and a method of detecting a biomaterial through the biosensor. The biosensor includes a substrate, an insulating layer, source and drain electrodes formed on the insulating layer, a middle-discontinuous channel provided between the source and drain electrodes, and a detection area on which a detection target material is to be fixed, covering the middle-discontinuous channel.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed which can shape fruits and root and tuberous vegetables. The shaping apparatus is operated in such a manner that: when root and tuberous vegetable or fruit is placed in a cutting blade case and rotated, the object is spirally tracked and the spirally tracked object is removed from the lower side of the cutting blade case, so that the spirally tracked object is picked up by an additional stick and then ornamented into various forms. The shaping apparatus allows fruits and root and tuberous vegetables to be easily treated in a variety of ways, as per the second process, thereby enhancing the product value of processed foodstuffs produced from the first process.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for supporting Non-Access Stratum (NAS) communication between a User Equipment (UE) and a Mobility Management Entity (MME) efficiently by addressing signaling problems occurring between the UE and the MME in a situation where it is necessary for a network node to identify the UE information, from another network node to which the UE has been attached, are provided. The method is implemented with a UE, an MME, and an old MME or an old Serving General Packet Radio Service Support Node (SGSN) to which the UE has been attached before so as to facilitate discovering a best node using the UE information acquired from the old MME or old SGSN during communication between the UE and the network, resulting in a reduction of a communication delay between the UE and network and an improvement of communication efficiency.

Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for contact-less charging of battery operated devices is presented. There is a host charger with a power converter and resonant tank circuit and a portable device where the battery is located, with a battery charging control IC. The method obviates the need for a voltage controller in each of both the host and the portable stages, thus decreasing complexity and increasing efficiency. The charging of the battery in the portable device is controlled by a charging controller therein, which is in continual electric communication with the host, whose output power the control IC dynamically monitors and controls. Two embodiments for the charging circuitry in the portable device are presented. In one embodiment component count is minimized but battery charging is not optimized when the battery voltage is very low. In the other embodiment charging efficiency is maximized regardless of the output voltage of the battery, but additional components are utilized.

Abstract: Provided are a display device and method for displaying and controlling a web page on a display device, the method including: receiving web page information; grouping the web page information into at least one segment; displaying a web page based on the web page information and a selector which is navigable among the at least one segment; receiving a navigational command for navigating the selector; and controlling the selector to move among the at least one segment based on the received navigational command.

The display apparatus divides the web page into at least a plurality of first blocks which may be individually displayed on the display apparatus so a user can more easily view the contents of the web page. The display apparatus may further divide at least one of the plurality of first blocks into a plurality of second blocks such that the size of the plurality of second blocks is less than a size of a screen of the display apparatus. The plurality of second blocks may also be formed to avoid dividing objects on the web page. The user may provide instructions to control the display apparatus to view one or more blocks corresponding to the desired portions of the web page.

Abstract: A portable terminal having a black box feature for a vehicle is provided, which includes a camera unit having an image sensor for sensing incident light and a lens unit; a storage unit for storing an image photographed by the camera unit; and a control unit for selecting a first region of the image sensor when a black box mode is selected, while selecting a second region that is a part of the first region of the image sensor when a general image mode is selected, controlling the camera unit to photograph an image that is formed on the selected region, and providing the photographed image to the storage unit. An image without distortion can be photographed in the case of photographing a general image, while a wide range outside of a vehicle can be photographed in the case of photographing a black box image.
