One aspect of the present invention provides a pouch secondary battery including a casing configured to accommodate an electrode assembly from which electrode tabs are led; and the casing includes a sealing portion formed on three sides of four sides of the pouch secondary battery and a close contact portion formed on the remaining one side; and an extending portion protruding perpendicularly with respect to the close contact portion is formed in a portion adjacent to the close contact portion in the sealing portion.

Abstract: Provided is a pouch case including first and second accommodation portions formed to accommodate the electrode assembly, a sealing portion formed along an outer part of the pouch case to surround the first and second accommodation portions, and a connecting portion formed with the same depth as that of the first and second accommodation portion and configured to connect the first and second accommodation portions at a predetermined interval, wherein a protrusion protrudes in a direction toward the sealing portion at opposite ends of the connecting portion. Accordingly, in the pouch case, and a secondary battery and a secondary battery pack using the same, a perfect cooling structure is acquired by uniformly forming one side surface of the secondary battery, and thus, an effect of holding one side surface of the secondary battery to be close to a cooling plate to maximize cooling efficiency is achieved.

Abstract: A secondary battery module includes a plurality of pouch type secondary batteries stacked in parallel, and a cooling plate configured to cool the plurality of stacked pouch type secondary batteries, wherein each of the pouch type secondary batteries includes a sealing portion and a close contact portion formed by an exterior material in an outer periphery thereof, the sealing portion is formed at three of four sides of the pouch type secondary battery and the close contact portion is formed at the other side of the pouch type secondary battery, an extending portion protruding in a direction perpendicular to the close contact portion is formed at a portion of the sealing portion adjacent to the close contact portion, and the cooling plate is brought into contact with the close contact portions of the plurality of stacked pouch type secondary batteries and cools the close contact portions.

Abstract: A sealing device for a secondary battery includes a first pressing member on which a first sealing member covering a first surface of a secondary battery is disposed, a second pressing member on which a second sealing member covering a second surface of the secondary battery is disposed, and a gap adjusting member disposed on one or more of the first pressing member and the second pressing member and configured to adjust a distance between the first pressing member and the second pressing member.
