Also provided herein are methods of preventing, reducing, ameliorating, mitigating, inhibiting treating and/or reversing schizophrenia or autism spectrum disorder an individual comprising administering to said individual an agent that increases the level of epoxy-fatty acids.

Abstract: Provided herein are methods of preventing, suppressing, or treating cancer in a subject as well as methods of prolonging survival of a subject in need of cancer treatment. Such methods include administering (i) at least one immunotherapeutic agent, and (ii) a dual inhibitor of COX-2 and sEH; or (i) at least one immunotherapeutic agent, and (ii) an sEH inhibitor. The described methods further include optionally administering (iii) one or more chemotherapeutic agents, and/or (iv) a high omega-3 diet to the subject. Abstract: Disclosed herein are lipid signaling pathways that can be targeted to prevent or delay the onset of type 1 diabetes (T1D). In particular, disclosed herein a pathway that can be modulated by a chemical inhibitor. Utilizing this inhibitor, evidence was generated suggesting that it is beneficial in reducing the incidence of T1D.
