    Abstract: Provided is a peptide composition for preventing or treating Alzheimer's dementia. A peptide or a salt substituent thereof according to the presently claimed subject matter exhibits effects such as suppression of LPS-mediated cytokine production, suppression of LPS-induced neuroinflammation, amelioration of cognitive impairment, suppression of beta amyloid or tau protein aggregation, and suppression of neuronal loss. The polypeptide or the salt substituent thereof can permeate the blood-brain barrier, and thus, is expected to be usefully used for preventing or treating Alzheimer's dementia.

Accordingly, by applying the composite sealant of the present invention to the solid oxide fuel cell stack, excellent gas-tightness of the stack can be obtained even under low coupling pressure, thermal cycling durability can be enhanced due to low coupling strength with a contact surface of an object to be sealed, stack disassembly and maintenance can be facilitated when parts within the stack are disabled, and stack stability as well as stack performance can be maintained under a pressurized operation condition where pressure differentials between the inside and outside of the stack reach to 5 atmospheric pressures (0.5 MPa).

    Abstract: A composite sealant of the present invention increases a fracture toughness of glass which has an excellent gas tightness but has a low fracture resistance, to enhance the thermal cycle stability while maintaining the gas tightness of a stack. For this, alpha-alumina fiber particles, alpha-alumina granular particles, and metallic particles are mixed and added to a glass matrix for remarkably increasing the fracture toughness from 0.5 MPa·m05 to 6 MPa·m°'5 through the multiple effects of crack deflection and crack bridging by the fiber and granular particles, and effects of crack arresting and plastic deformation by the metallic particles.

    Abstract: Method and system for recovering polyethylene from a polyethylene-containing scrap material. The recovery method includes the steps of putting the scrap material containing polyethylene into a solvent mixture containing a polyethylene-soluble solvent and a polyethylene-insoluble solvent in a ratio of 1:1˜1:3 based on volume, heating the mixture at a temperature of 60˜145° C. to dissolve the polyethylene from the scrap material, resulting in a mixture of a polyethylene solution and insoluble substances. Then, the resulting mixture is filtered to separate the polyethylene solution and the insoluble substances, and polyethylene is deposited by cooling the separated polyethylene solution. Then, a mixture of the polyethylene deposition and the solvent mixture is filtered to separate the polyethylene deposition.
