Abstract: A component system includes a first component having a first surface. The first surface includes an annular groove. A second component is positioned on the first surface of the first component adjacent to the annular groove. A retainer ring is positioned in the annular groove to limit axial movement of the second component relative to the first component. The retainer ring includes a trapezium-shaped cross-section including an outwardly facing edge and an inwardly facing edge. One of the outwardly facing edge and the inwardly facing edge is positioned in the annular groove and the other of the outwardly facing edge and the inwardly facing edge includes an angled surface configured to selectively engage with the second component.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are DNA amplification methods for quantifying DNA fragments of a target DNA in a sample by size. This can be used, for example, to detect tumor-derived viral DNA in blood sample and distinguish it from larger viral DNA from non-tumor sources. In particular, disclosed herein are methods of detecting, monitoring or treating a human papilloma virus (HPV)-associated malignancy in a subject that involves detecting a presence or absence of at least one circulating tumor-derived HPV DNA in a sample from the subject. Kits for accomplishing the same are also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and compositions of modified oligonucleotide primer and probe combinations, structurally modified with locked nucleic acids, quenchers, and dyes, effective to detect tumor-derived Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and tumor-derived Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and, especially, to distinguish viral DNA derived from tumors from viral DNA derived from infectious viral particles.

Abstract: Various arrangements for short-range wireless communication are presented herein. An earbud of a pair of true wireless earbuds can receive an audio packet addressed to the other earbud of the pair. A single connected isochronous stream (CIS) within a connected isochronous group (CIG) may be present between the pair of true wireless earbuds and an audio source which transmitted the audio packet. The earbud can transmit a cross-acknowledgement indicating receipt of the audio packet to the other earbud. The earbud can also transmit audio data from the audio packet to the other earbud after the cross acknowledgement.

Abstract: Features described herein generally relate to providing dynamic spatial audio. Particularly, audio data is received, first audio frames are generated from the received audio data, the audio frames are transmitted to an audio playback device using a wireless link in a dynamic spatial audio mode, at least one condition associated with the audio playback device is detected, second audio frames are generated from the received audio data; and the second audio frames is transmitted to the audio playback device using the wireless link in a basic audio mode.

The system can receive an indication from the base station to perform iterations of transmitting a keep alive report periodicity signal according to a packet data convergence protocol protocol data unit format. The system can initiate the iterations of transmitting the keep alive report periodicity signal to the base station, wherein, responsive to the initiating, a user equipment release transaction is to be initiated for the system based on a lack of a threshold number of consecutive keep alive report periodicity signals of the keep alive report periodicity signals being received.

Abstract: Various arrangements of wireless earbuds are presented. A first earbud, can include a first speaker, a first processing system, and a first wireless communication interface, that communicates with an audio source device using Bluetooth communications. A second earbud can include a second speaker, a second processing system, and a second wireless communication interface, that communicates with the audio source device and the first earbud using Bluetooth communications. The first earbud and the second earbud may be configured to wirelessly communicate with each other following completion of a first connected isochronous stream (CIS) event for the first earbud and second CIS event for the second earbud within a connected isochronous group (CIG) event.

Abstract: A method for recovering a portion of a backup image includes obtaining, by a proxy data mover and from a host operating system, a request for accessing a file in the backup image. In response to the request, the proxy data mover utilizes a virtual file system manager to identify, from a plurality of subsystem volumes, a subsystem volume of the plurality of subsystem volume associated with the file, where the subsystem volume is used to identify a storage location of the file in the backup image, and wherein each of the plurality of subsystem volumes is associated with a portion of the backup image. The proxy data mover further accesses a backup storage system using the subsystem volumes to access the backup image, obtains, after the accessing, the file from the backup image, and provides the file to the host operating system.

Abstract: A system can configure a first number of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) positions in radio resource control information as part of a connection setup with a base station that is configured to facilitate first broadband cellular communications, wherein the first broadband cellular communications are facilitated with carrier aggregation of a primary cell and a secondary cell. The system can, after attaching to the base station, receive a first medium access control control element (MAC-CE) message from the base station indicative of modifying the number of DMRS positions. The system can, after attaching to the base station, receive a second MAC-CE message from the base station indicative of modifying the number of DMRS positions. The system can conduct second broadband cellular communications with the base station according to the modified number of DMRS positions.

Abstract: Features described herein generally relate to systems and methods for improving voice call quality and device latency. A communication technique is disclosed in which a primary earbud of a set of earbuds acknowledges successful reception of the voice packet from a source device and transmits a data packet to a secondary earbud of set of earbuds when the secondary earbud is unable to successfully intercept and/or acquire the voice packet. Even if the secondary earbud does not intercept and/or otherwise acquire voice packet in a transmission from the source device to the primary earbud, the secondary earbud can receive the voice packet thereby improving voice call quality even in poor link conditions.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to performing an ADS feature. An acceleration of the vehicle is controlled based on automotive sensor data and a planned acceleration using a control system. The control system comprises a first set of control components having a first ASIL and a second set of control components having a second ASIL, the first ASIL being lower than the second ASIL. An acceleration deviation caused by the first set of control components is detected based on the automotive sensor data. Finally, when the acceleration deviation is detected, a safe acceleration state is determined using the second set of control components, wherein the safe acceleration state is selected from a set of safe acceleration states based on the automotive sensor data, the set comprising at least a maximum deceleration, a reduced deceleration and a reduced acceleration.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for improving data transfer systems by using a data loader system configured to utilize a thread pool to encrypt and send data formatted according to a schema. A data loader system may receive identification of source data at a transfer source system that is formatted according to a source schema. The data loader system may further receive identification of a target data location at a transfer target system. Data at the target data location may be formatted according to a target schema. The data loader system may validate the source and target schemas by comparing a field in the source schema to a field in the target schema. In response to the validation, the data loader system may encrypting and transfer the source data to the target data location.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for automated testing of an ETL process comprising receiving configuration details at a user interface. The configuration details include: program configuration details, project configuration details, test case configuration details, test suite configuration details and connection configuration details. The configuration details are stored in a tool database. A test suite comprises one or more test cases, and one or more test cases are mapped to one or more test suites. One or more test suites are executed. Executing a test suite comprises loading the source data from a source data system and loading target data from a target data system into memory. A library of functions is accessed, and one or more functions are selected according to the configuration details. Using the selected functions, source data and target data are compared. The comparing produces discrepancy results which are stored in the tool database. Test execution results are also stored in the tool database.

Abstract: Various arrangements are presented that provide improvements of short-range wireless communications, such as Bluetooth LE Audio communication. An audio source device may determine that unidirectional audio is to be output. In response to determining that unidirectional audio is to be output, a first physical layer (PHY) configuration can be set for a first communication link in the downlink direction from the audio source device to the audio output device. A second PHY configuration can be set for the communication link in the uplink direction from the audio output device to the audio source device. The first PHY configuration has a greater symbol rate than the second PHY configuration.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cryogenic process to produce crude helium from pretreated natural gas. The pretreated natural gas is processed in two flash stages using the helium free process stream as a stripping agent, and a distillation column with the identified operating conditions and process scheme to ensure 100% helium recovery with reduced capital and operating cost for producing the crude helium. The integration of the cryogenic process with the already known purification system to produce pure helium is demonstrated to ensure high helium recovery in a hybrid process.

Abstract: A system can communicate broadband cellular communications with a user equipment. The system can send a radio resource control message to the user equipment to establish a sounding reference signal mode for the broadband cellular communications, wherein the sounding reference signal mode is a periodic mode. The system can send a second message in a second format to the user equipment, wherein the second format differs from a radio resource control format, and wherein the second message indicates changing a number of sounding reference signal positions. The system can receive, from the user equipment, a third message that utilizes the number of sounding reference signal positions to convey sounding reference signal information. The system can save an indication of a channel quality that corresponds to the broadband cellular communications based on the sounding reference signal information in the third message.
