  • Patent number: 11142552
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel protein comprising novel genes that is extracted from Burkholderia gladioli strain NGJ1. A nucleotide sequence encoding the novel protein is represented by sequence SEQ ID No. 1 and amino acid sequence of the novel protein is represented by the sequence SEQ ID No. 2 is further provided. A nucleotide sequence and the amino acid sequence are obtained from genetically engineered Bg_9562 gene. The novel protein as well as encoding gene is adapted for broad spectrum anti-fungal and mycophagous activities.

  • Patent number: 10628444
Abstract: A first agent informs a second agent that a backup file is created for an active copy of a data object in a first node in a cluster of nodes, in response to the first agent determining that the backup file is created for the active copy of the data object in the first node. The second agent instructs a change tracker associated with a passive copy of the data object in a second node in the cluster of nodes to begin tracking changes received from a synchronizer associated with the active copy of the data object in the first node, wherein tracked changes received from the synchronizer associated with the active copy of the data object in the first node enables a next backup operation performed on the data object to be performed as an incremental backup operation on the data object in the second node.

  • Patent number: 10614047
Abstract: In one example, a method for data protection in a cluster environment includes identifying data in the cluster environment that is to be backed up, where the identified data includes data that resides on a shared disk of the cluster environment. Next, a physical proxy node, from which a backup of the identified data will be performed, is selected. The selected physical proxy node is in the cluster environment. A federated backup of the identified data is then performed from the physical proxy node and generates a backup. The backup is then stored for later restoration to a node of the cluster environment.

  • Patent number: 10379960
Abstract: Bypassing backup operations for specified database types is described. A system determines whether a database, of multiple databases associated with a database system, corresponds to a database type specified in a configuration file, in response to receiving a backup operation request. The system executes an incremental backup operation on changes made to the database since a selected time, for the backup operation request, if the database does not correspond to the database type specified in the configuration file. The system bypasses executing any backup operation on the database for the backup operation request if the database corresponds to the database type specified in the configuration file.

  • Patent number: 9588716
Abstract: Backup operations for shared volumes are described. A shared volume is identified as used by a virtual machine scheduled for a backup operation by a first distributed system node. A second distributed system node is identified that has a responsibility for sending control signals to the shared volume. An association is saved of the second distributed system node to the shared volume. The responsibility for sending control signals to the shared volume is assigned to the first distributed system node. The backup operation is executed for the shared volume by the first distributed system node. The responsibility for sending control signals to the shared volume is assigned to the second distributed system node.

  • Patent number: 9501544
Abstract: A method, system, article of manufacture, and apparatus for creating backups of workloads in a clustered environment is discussed. In some embodiments, each node in the environment may sequentially back up its active workloads. The nodes may take data snapshots of a cluster shared volume, and thereafter extract the necessary workload data. The process may be controlled from a master node or an external server.
