  • Publication number: 20240397374
Abstract: An access and mobility management function (AMF) of a server system can receive performance parameters and location information from a user device. The performance parameters can describe the quality of a wireless connection of the user device on the telecommunications network. The server system can determine a geographical space associated with the user device based on the location information of the user device. The server system can determine a quality factor for the geographical space associated with the user device. The quality factor indicates whether a user device located within the geographical space should be allocated with guaranteed bit rate (GBR) resources or non-guaranteed bit rate (non-GBR) resources. The AMF can transmit a message including the quality factor to a core network function of the server system. The core network function can optimize the allocation of GBR and non-GBR resources for the geographical space based on the quality factor.

  • Publication number: 20240394874
Abstract: Retinal optical coherence tomography (OCT) with intraretinal layer segmentation is increasingly used not only in ophthalmology but also for neurological diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS). Signal quality influences segmentation results, and high-quality OCT images are needed for accurate segmentation and quantification of subtle intraretinal layer changes. Among others, OCT image quality depends on the ability to focus, patient compliance and operator skills. Current criteria, for OCT quality define acceptable image quality, but depend on manual rating by experienced graders and are time consuming and subjective. In this paper, we propose and validate a standardized, grader-independent, real-time feedback system for automatic quality assessment of retinal OCT images. We defined image quality criteria for scan centering, signal quality and image completeness based on published quality criteria and typical artifacts identified by experienced graders when inspecting OCT images.

  • Publication number: 20240397349
Abstract: The system obtains data associated with a failed interaction between a UE and a wireless telecommunication network and makes a series of determinations based on the data, including missing connection summary parameters, missing signaling information, missing component carrier parameters, whether the node in the network is properly configured, whether an RF measurement matches an expected RF measurement, and whether a condition associated with a channel used in the failed interaction is satisfactory. The system provides the results of the determinations to the root cause analytics engine, which in turn, based on the results, determines a root cause associated with the failed interaction.

  • Patent number: 12155653
Abstract: This disclosure relates to systems and methods for performing single input based multifactor authentication. Multifactor authentication refers to an authentication system with enhanced security which utilizes more than one authentication forms to validate identity of a user. Conventionally, the process of multifactor authentication is a serial process which involves inputting of authentication information multiple times. However, with conventional approaches, delay is introduced in execution of the multifactor authentication process. The method of the present disclosure addresses unresolved problems of multifactor authentication by enabling two or more factors to be assessed simultaneously making the authentication process faster without sacrificing the robustness of authentication process. Embodiments of the present disclosure analyzes spoken response of the user to a dynamically generated question for multifactor authentication.

  • Patent number: 12130775
Abstract: A federated compliance management system operating in a cloud computing environment imports a repository-specific retention policy from a source information system operating in an enterprise computing environment and converts, using a policy mapping definition, the repository-specific retention policy into a federated retention policy. The policy mapping definition contains attribute mappings for federated attributes common across a plurality of information systems of disparate types, repository-specific attributes that are specific to an information system, and, where applicable, phase-common attributes that are common for all phases of an information system as well as phase-repository-specific attributes that are configured for a specific phase. The federated retention policy is stored in the cloud computing environment for use by the federated compliance management system, for instance, as a base policy for creating a repository-specific retention policy for a target system.

  • Publication number: 20240354022
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein improve on current technology for block-level data replication to cloud computing environments. A new system architecture deploys one or more replication tail proxies in a cloud computing environment, locally (at the cloud) tracks replicated data and determines which replicated data meet criteria for reconstructing a desired point-in-time in the cloud, and persists data blocks received at the replication tail proxy until they are processed as recovery points. The disclosed approach presents resiliency and performance advantages. First, the resiliency of block-level data replication to cloud is improved by deploying the replication tail proxy in the destination cloud. Second, a Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is reduced by enabling faster cloud deployment of virtual machines for disaster recovery, failover, and/or test purposes based on the replicated data.

  • Patent number: 12124445
Abstract: Systems and methods for data reporting using a data aggregator and a data retrieval tool such as a file intelligence service. The data aggregator stores two sets of data reporting tables and designates a first one of the sets of tables as an active set and the second one of the sets as a non-active set. The active set of tables stores data corresponding to a most recently successfully completed search. The non-active set stores data retrieved by the data retrieval tool from disparate data sources according to current search. The data in the active set of tables is immediately available for use in requested reports. When the data aggregator completes the current search, it designates the non-active set of tables as the active set so that the data therein becomes available for use in requested reports.
