  • Publication number: 20200097350
Abstract: A method and computing system to recommend potential root causes of failure of an operation of a computer system is provided. An indication of a failed operation is received. A number of change orders (CO) that change one or more configuration items (CIs) that are associated with the operation from a baseline state to the current state of operation is determined. A root cause analysis (RCA) graph is displayed for a selected CO and has a plurality of CIs and connections therebetween in a first display area and a change order timeline in a second display area. Any of the number of CIs that were changed are highlighted. A potential cause listing in a third display area provides a list of highlighted CIs and a percentage indication by each highlighted CI that represents a calculated percentage that the CI is a potential cause of the failed operation.

  • Publication number: 20190214013
Abstract: A web server system identifies a webpage being accessed by a user through a client terminal. The webpage is among a set of possible webpages that are accessible through the client terminal. Different identifiers are assigned to different ones of the webpages. Responsive to the identifier of the webpage, a set of user interface (UI) input field constraints is selected that define what the webpage allows to be input by a user to a set of UI fields provided by the webpage. An output text string is obtained that is converted from a sampled audio steam by a speech-to-text conversion server and that is constrained to satisfy one of the UI field input constraints of the selected set. The output text string is provided to an application programming interface of the webpage that corresponds to one of the UI fields having user input constrained by the UI field input constraint of the selected set.

  • Publication number: 20180275957
Abstract: A method includes processing voice audio input by a user to extract a general programming instruction and determining a context of the general programming instruction based on a detected gesture (1) made by the user with respect to a display interface and (2) associated with the voice audio input by the user. The method also includes outputting an appropriate source code instruction in a programming application being displayed on the display interface based on the general programming instructions and the context.

  • Publication number: 20100179927
Abstract: Various embodiments provide one or more of systems, methods, software, and data structures rate risk of proposed system changes. Some embodiments include receiving input representative of answers to a set of system change questions presented to a user and the answers representative of a proposed system change. A risk ranking of the proposed system change may then be derived based on the received system change question answers and a success factor will be identified based on the historical data. Further, a probability factor weightage indicative of an amount of data considered in identifying the success factor may be obtained. A risk rating is then calculated for making the proposed system change based on the risk ranking, success factor, and probability factor aspects of the proposed change, which helps in better change management.
