According to an embodiment, the liquid crystal display panel includes a first substrate having a black matrix that defines a non-display region and a display region, a second substrate on which a pixel array is formed, a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a sealant between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein a distance between the sealant and the black matrix is different in accordance with a position on which the sealant is formed.
