  • Patent number: 10065892
Abstract: Disclosed are a hydraulic binder composition using rapidly-cooled steelmaking reduced slag powder and a method of preparing the same. More particularly, the rapidly-cooled steelmaking reduced slag (RC-LFS) powder is obtained by spraying and scattering gas at a high pressure and high speed onto electric furnace smelting reduction slag, which is one of the by-products generated during iron smelting performed in an ironworks, and quickly cooling and pulverizing the slag. The initial high hydration heat reaction and initial setting of the rapidly-cooled steelmaking reduced slag (RC-LFS) powder are delayed to ensure workability. A retardant and gypsum are mixed into the rapidly-cooled steelmaking reduced slag (RC-LFS) powder so as to activate the generation of needle-shaped ettringite and to thus develop the initial and long-term strength, and therefore the rapidly-cooled steelmaking reduced slag (RC-LFS) powder of the present invention can be used as a substitute for ordinary Portland cement.

  • Patent number: 8168237
Abstract: Disclosed is an anti-obesity active extract obtained from a medicinal plant. More specifically, the extract obtained from lysimachiae foenum-graeci herba (which is a medicinal plant traditionally used in the East) can be used as an active ingredient for a raw material, a functional food, cosmetic, a crude drug, etc. for an obesity preventing or therapeutic agent because the extract can suppress the adipocyte differentiation and decrease the body weight and body fat in an obese animal, thereby suppressing fat accumulation (that is, a factor for obesity).

  • Patent number: 6724682
Abstract: Disclosed is a nonvolatile semiconductor memory device having selective multiple-speed operation modes selected by simple options. The nonvolatile semiconductor memory device includes a memory cell array formed of a plurality of cell array blocks each having a plurality of cell strings, the cell string formed with floating gate memory cell transistors such that their control gates each are respectively connected to a plurality of word lines, and its drain-source channels are series connected to each other between a string select transistor and a ground select transistor. The memory device also includes a multiple-speed mode option part for generating a multiple-speed option signal, and an addressing circuit for selecting a page size and block size of the memory cell array different from one another in response to a state of the multiple-speed option signal.

  • Patent number: 6594178
Abstract: A method is operable in a non-volatile memory device of a type having a plurality of blocks formed of a plurality of memory strings in which a plurality of memory cells are connected in series in which a programming operation is conducted after erasing memory cells. The method essentially including the steps of: erasing data held in the memory cells in a unit of the block; and applying a soft program voltage to word lines coupled with the erased memory cells in the unit of the block. The method improves a threshold voltage profile after an erasing cycle, whereby program stress can be minimized in a follow-up program operation.

  • Patent number: 6469933
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for programming a non-volatile semiconductor memory device that avoids the program disturb problem. In the programming method, ground voltage is applied to a first bit line corresponding to a memory cell to be programmed, and power supply voltage is applied to a second bit line corresponding to a memory cell to be prevented from being programmed. Next, a program voltage is applied to a word line connected to the memory cell to be programmed. The program voltage is stepped up to a desired voltage level of each program cycle from the first voltage thereby to reduce coupling between selected and non-selected bit and word lines.
