Abstract: A hinge for a tonneau cover and a mounting assembly includes a right hinge, a left hinge, four connectors, a first clamping device, and a second clamping device. The first clamping device is attached to the right edge of the truck bed, while the second clamping device is attached to the left edge of the truck bed. The right hinge includes an upper plate, a front plate, a downward plate, and a lateral plate. The left hinge includes an upper plate, a front plate, a downward plate, and a lateral plate. The hinge for the tonneau cover and the mounting assembly can be mounted without drilling the truck bed and is compatible with various models of pickup trucks and can be mounted in the pickup trucks with or without the bed liner.

The fastening assembly includes a foldable tie-down ring assembly, screw and supporting plate. The foldable tie-down ring assembly includes a base member, an elastic pad, a foldable tie-down ring, a clamp member, a rubber pad and an anti-loosening ring or plastic. The principle for fastening is to fasten the screw so that the clamp member exerts clamp force on the base member with the bed liner and bed rail therebetween. The installed fastening assembly and bed liner results in the bed liner being fastened to the truck bed.
