Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a robot-compatible building, and a method and system for controlling a robot traveling in a building. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a method and system for controlling a robot that enables a robot and a person to coexist together in the same space and to provide useful services to the person. The present disclosure relates to a method for controlling a robot traveling in a space based on a node map including a plurality of nodes, and may comprise: receiving location information of the robot traveling in the space along a preset travel path including a plurality of nodes; identifying a node at which the robot is located based on the location information; and transmitting, to the robot, a control parameter assigned to the identified node when a control parameter related to behavior control of the robot is assigned to the identified node, so that the robot performs a behavior according to the control parameter.
