  • Patent number: 7291432
Abstract: A photoconductive imaging member with linear and proportional collection efficiencies and substantially constant photoinduced characteristics comprised of a supporting substrate, and thereover in, for example, certain weight ratios, a single layer comprised of a mixture of a photogenerator component, a charge transport component, an electron transport component, and a polymer binder, and wherein the photogenerating component is a pigment.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 23, 2004
Date of Patent: November 6, 2007
    Assignee: Xerox Corporation
Inventors: Liang-Bih Lin, Surendar Jevadev, Markus R. Silvestri, James M. Markovics, Andronique Ioannidis, Linda L. Ferrarese, John S. Chambers, Anna M. Main
  • Patent number: 7187534
Abstract: By varying corona producing element height/projection, a more uniform charge potential is achieved. Elements, such as pins or teeth, are shorter at the edges of an element array and grow longer as one moves toward the center of the array. Such variation in height/projection overcomes shielding from adjacent teeth, as well as other effects, to yield the more uniform charging potential.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 25, 2003
Date of Patent: March 6, 2007
    Assignee: Xerox Corporation
Inventors: Satchidanand Mishra, Edward A. Domm, Dennis J. Prosser, Steven P. Nonkes, Zoran D. Popovic, Surendar Jevadev
