Publication number: 20190379188Abstract: An interlocking cable cleat secures cables to a ladder rack. The interlocking cable cleat is formed from a first cable cleat half and a second cable cleat half. Each cable cleat half includes an outer surface, an inner surface, and at least one mounting hole extending from the outer surface to the inner surface. Semi-circular keys extend from the inner surface of each cable cleat half around the mounting holes in the cable cleat halves defining slots in the remainder of each mounting hole. Each slot receives one of the semi-circular keys from an opposing inverted cable cleat half to interlock the first cable cleat half to the second cable cleat half.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 3, 2019Publication date: December 12, 2019Applicant: Panduit Corp.Inventors: Shaun P. Brouwer, Surendra Chitti Babu

Publication number: 20190379186Abstract: A trefoil cable arrangement that secures cables during a short circuit event. The trefoil cable arrangement has a top cleat and a bottom cleat. The bottom cleat is secured to the top cleat to form the trefoil cable arrangement. The top cleat has an outer surface, an inner surface, and ends with mounting holes. The bottom cleat has an outer surface, an inner surface defining a cable support area, and ends with mounting holes. The cable support area is curved to support various sized cables.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 4, 2019Publication date: December 12, 2019Applicant: Panduit Corp.Inventors: Surendra Chitti Babu, Shaun P. Patent number: 10020616Abstract: A locking electrical outlet has a housing with a channel and an outlet latch within, a slider configured to move axially within the channel, a memory block, a locking plate with an opening, and a spring configured to bias the locking plate towards a first angle. The slider is configured move axially rearward relative to the housing by the insertion of the plug. The rearward movement of the slider reduces the angle of the locking plate such that a blade of the plug can move through the opening of the locking plate. The memory block is partially compressed by the slider such that it the slider engages the outlet latch of the housing, temporarily holding the locking plate at the reduced angle until the expansion of the memory block disengages the slider from the outlet latch and allows the spring to return locking plate towards the first angle.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2017Date of Patent: July 10, 2018Assignee: Panduit Corp.Inventors: Scott R. Hartman, Shaun P. Brouwer, Surendra Chitti Babu, Masud Bolouri-Saransar

Patent number: 9966711Abstract: A communication plug having a plug body and a plurality of contact pairs at least partially within the plug body, the contact pairs including an inherent asymmetric coupling between individual contacts of one of the contact pairs and other individual contacts of another of the contact pairs. Second asymmetric coupling elements are connected between the individual contacts of one of the contact pairs and the other individual contacts of another of the contact pairs. The second asymmetric coupling elements, when combined with the inherent asymmetric coupling, provide a balanced symmetric coupling between the individual contacts of one of the contact pairs and the other individual contacts of another of the contact pairs.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2017Date of Patent: May 8, 2018Assignee: Panduit Corp.Inventors: Masud Bolouri-Saransar, Ronald A.
