  • Publication number: 20240394695
Abstract: A system for multi-factor user authentication for payment card-based transactions are described. The multifactor authentication may be based on a one-time passcode/password (OTP) as sent by an authentication server. A user device may, based on receiving the OTP, send an authentication code. The authentication code may be generated/determined based on the OTP. The authentication code may be augmented biometric identifier (ID) of a user associated with the user device. The authentication server may validate a transaction based on the authentication code.

  • Publication number: 20240393140
Abstract: A Halbach-based magnetic position sensor includes a Halbach magnetic element having a spatially rotating magnetization pattern along an extent, producing a focused and augmented magnetic field on a working side relative to a magnetic field on a non-working side. A sensing element on the working side is co-configured with the Halbach magnetic element for relative motion therebetween. The sensing element includes encoder circuitry and magnetic sensors that sense the working-side magnetic field and produce corresponding sensor signals. The encoder circuitry translates the sensor signals into position signals indicating relative position between the sensing element and the Halbach magnetic element. In one example the Halbach magnetic element has a closed curve (e.g., substantially circular or ring-like) configuration.

  • Publication number: 20240388938
Abstract: One or more processors of a device management platform receive, from a plurality of networks, usage data indicating usage of devices on the plurality of networks. The one or more processors of the device management platform apply rules to the usage data to identify requested usage data for entities associated with the devices. The rules are defined by the entities to individually indicate the requested usage data. The one or more processors of the device management platform send the requested usage data to one or more destinations of the entities indicated by the rules.

  • Publication number: 20240370609
Abstract: A variety of algorithmic approaches such as Finite Element Modeling (FEM) and Surface Modeling (SM) use post-accident photos and other data to reconstruct an accident to improve vehicle damage and occupant injury determination. A database of vehicle models created with these techniques may then be used to create vehicle accident simulations and reconstruct the accident based on different impact and occupant parameters. Accident reconstruction using FEM and other techniques allows accident visualization for Auto Physical Damage (APD) corresponding to the vehicle's insurance policy, internal and external component damage prediction for the vehicle, and occupant injury prediction based on movement during the accident.

  • Publication number: 20240370641
Abstract: A method of receiving information from a first notice of a loss may be disclosed. A person may provide a description of a loss event. The description may be stored in a memory. The communication may be converted to text using a voice transcription system. The text may then be analyzed to determine if the text relates to know fields. If the determination is positive, the text is placed in the detected field. Once the fields are full, an index is calculated.

  • Publication number: 20240313749
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to the management of a multi-trim oscillator to provide synchronization across multiple frequencies derived from the multi-trim oscillator without causing spurious pulses of clock output. In one example, a system provides a first clock signal via an oscillator and a second clock signal based on the first clock signal and a divider. The system further receives a first signal that indicates a change in a frequency of the first clock signal from a first frequency to a second frequency. In response to the first signal, the system determines an edge of the second clock signal and provides, at a time based on the edge of the second clock signal, a second signal to the oscillator to cause the change to the second frequency.

  • Publication number: 20240291874
Abstract: A method performed by a remote-control unit (RCU) of managing a content transfer to or from integrated output devices (IODs) in a physical room is disclosed. The content transfer involves moving application context of a computer application with which a user can interact, which includes a computer object being operated on and relevant metadata. The RCU is programmed to recognize simple user instructions for the content transfer and perform the content transfer from a source device to a target device in real time, regardless of data transfer protocols specific to computer applications. Specifically, the RCU is programmed to obtain source data from the source device, generate updated source data by combining the source data with one or more commands specifying how the source data is to be handled based on a session mode indicating a type of activity being performed in the physical room, and transmit the updated source data to the target device for further user interaction.

  • Publication number: 20240281078
Abstract: A method of managing human-computer interaction using a remote-control unit (RCU) is disclosed. A processor within the RCU receives sensor data from a plurality of sensors within the RCU. The processor determines attributes of the RCU based on the sensor data, the attributes including at least a first user of the RCU and a position and orientation of the RCU in a physical room. The processor determines a use mode of the RCU based on the attributes. The use mode is mapped to a set of actions to be performed on a set of input/output (I/O) devices. Each action is mapped to one or more interactions with the RCU. Responsive to the processor detecting a user interaction with the RCU that is mapped to an action in the set of actions, the processor causes the action to be performed on one or more I/O devices.
