    Abstract: Hierarchical Power Management (HPM) architecture considers the limits of scaling on a power management controller, the autonomy at each die, and provides a unified view of the package to a platform. At a simplest level, HPM architecture has a supervisor and one or more supervisee power management units (PMUs) that communicate via at least two different communication fabrics. Each PMU can behave as a supervisor for a number of supervisee PMUs in a particular domain. HPM addresses these needs for products that comprise a collection of dice with varying levels of power and thermal management capabilities and needs. HPM serves as a unified mechanism than can span collection of dice of varying capability and function, which together form a traditional system-on-chip (SoC). HPM provides a basis for managing power and thermals across a diverse set of dice.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure enable endpoint devices to launch applications from an application inventory data store using a unified endpoint management (UEM) platform. The UEM platform obtains an application specification from the application inventory data store, wherein the application specification includes a group of applications and includes location data associated with the group of applications on the application inventory data store. The UEM platform receives user data from an endpoint device that indicates a user is enrolled with the UEM platform and the UEM platform provides the application specification data to the endpoint device. The UEM platform determines a subset of applications of the group of applications that are assigned to the user using the user data and provides the determined subset of the applications to the endpoint device, whereby the endpoint device is enabled to launch an application of the subset of applications using the application specification data.

A pre-wetting liquid or vapor is dispensed. A substrate is moved through the dispensed pre-wetting liquid or vapor and the meniscus. The dispensed pre-wetting vapor condenses a pre-wetting liquid over a region of the substrate adjacent to a region of the substrate where the meniscus is generated. The pre-wetting liquid is deposited without substantially generating surface flow of the pre-wetting liquid on the substrate, and the pre-wetting liquid prevents the leading edge of the meniscus from contacting a dry surface region of the substrate.

A first virtual boundary connects the analog and the first digital modules to gate the signal transfer during testing. A second digital module includes the remaining digital components of the mixed-signal core, whereby a second virtual boundary separates it from the first digital module. This type of partitioning enables the mixed-signal core to have three modes of operation, using which the analog, mixed-signal and digital components can all be tested.

    Abstract: This Precise Recipe Spice Dispenser is an aid to cooks, providing accurate and speedy dispensing of proper amounts of spices in correct sequence for a given recipe. A transparent plastic form contains a series of separate trough-shaped spice compartments with open faces. The sequence and sizes of the compartments depend on the order and amounts of the individual spices required. The plastic form, when filled with the spices, is sealed to the front layer of a double-layer chipboard backing, such that the open periphery of the spice compartments exactly matches a cutout in the front layer. The back layer has a peelable strip with a peripheral perforation exactly back-to-back with the cutout periphery in the front layer. The names of the spices and the recipe as a whole may be printed on the front layer next to the sealed spice compartments. When the first spice is needed, the peelable strip is peeled back to expose just the first compartment, leaving the other compartments sealed.
