  • Patent number: 11983571
Abstract: A method and system for hardware-based predictive fault detection and analysis are described herein. Logic components of a computing cluster can baseline a plurality of telemetries associated with at least one processing node of the computing cluster. The logic components can monitor the plurality of telemetries while the at least one processing node is in operation. The logic components of the computing cluster can compare the monitored plurality of telemetries with the baselined plurality of telemetries. The logic components can predict one or more impending faults associated with the at least one processing node based on the comparisons.

  • Patent number: 9894259
Abstract: Movable image capture devices and methods for images from behind a display screen are disclosed. According to an aspect, a method includes determining a position of a displayed target image on a display screen. The method also includes using an image capture device positioned behind the display screen for capturing images positioned in front of the display screen. The method also includes moving the image capture device behind the display screen to a position near the position of the displayed target image based on the determined position of the displayed target image.

Assignee: LENOVO ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.
Inventors: Jacob Kakou, Daniel M. Ranck, Nusrat Sherali, Suresh K. Thapa
  • Patent number: 9705270
Abstract: A universal power outlet, a universal junction box associated with a cover, and a universal extension cord. Sensors within openings in electrical sockets detect different characteristics of plug contacts. In response to the detected characteristics, power requirements for an energy consuming device associated with the plug are correlated. Logic dynamically selects and delivers a level of required power, from multiple available levels of power, to the device based on the detected characteristics.
