The method comprises receiving at least one push message from at least one content provider, customizing the at least one push message based on one or more instructions stored in a gateway server, and pushing the at least one push message to at least one user device, based on the customization of the at least one push message at the gateway server. The system comprises at least one content provider, at least one push server, a gateway server, and at least one user device.
