Publication number: 20230319566Abstract: A method for extended authentication sessions on an electronic device may include an authentication service computer program executed by an authentication service electronic device: receiving a customer identifier for a customer and a unique identifier for a mobile electronic device; authenticating the customer based on the customer identifier and the unique identifier for the mobile electronic device; setting a device cookie that is specific to the mobile electronic device on the mobile electronic device; and providing the device cookie and a client secret to an OAuth services backend, wherein the OAuth services backend validates the customer identifier and client secret and generates a first token and a second token, the first token having an expiration that is shorter than that of the second token. The mobile electronic device is configured to receive and store the first token and the second token.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2022Publication date: October 5, 2023Inventors: Jasbir BANGA, Ryan S YODER, Mizan MIAH, Muralidhar SOMAPALLI, Neill CLAYTON-SMITH, Reetu BOK, Sandeep Reddy BANALA, Scott R MOSER, Bipin MORE, Suresh MADHAVAN

Publication number: 20230297723Abstract: Password-less authentication and login onto an application are disclosed. A processor extracts Digital Driver's License (DDL) data from a user's computing device; extracts the DDL data of the user from an external database (i.e., DMV); validates the DDL data by comparing with the DDL data from the external database; creates, in response to validating, a DDL secret private key; allows successful registration of the computing device to utilize DDL data for login; and stores the DDL secret private key onto an internal database and a secured environment of the computing device. At login request by the user, when the processor determines that the computing device is successfully registered, it validates the DDL secret private key by comparing with data from the internal database; creates a new DDL secret private key and updates the internal database and the secured environment with the new DDL secret private key for subsequent login.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 18, 2022Publication date: September 21, 2023Applicant: JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.Inventors: Kumar RAO KRISHNAGI, Stefan SCHUBERT, Suresh MADHAVAN, Sandeep Reddy BANALA

Patent number: 8141140Abstract: Method and systems for single sign on with dynamic authentication levels is described. The method include receiving a data request for access to a second application, where the user is already authenticated to the first application at a first authentication level. Application information about the authentication level necessary to access the second application is retrieved. In response to a request, the user provides the further authentication data for accessing the second application. The type of the further authentication data required is based on the first authentication level and the minimum authentication level necessary to access the second application. The user is then authenticated to the second application at the minimum authentication level necessary to access the second application.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2009Date of Patent: March 20, 2012Assignee: HSBC Technologies Inc.Inventors: Roberto Wenzel, Alexander Kalinovsky, Justin Michael Billinghay, Aditya Kommaraju, Suresh Madhavan, Akhilesh Kumar, Fred Hoysted, Rachel Hoyle, Henry Robert Michaluk

Publication number: 20090254546Abstract: A system and method store and locate objects within a business organization. Objects created by individuals are stored in association with a context for which they are created. Security can be used to prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing objects without permission.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 3, 2009Publication date: October 8, 2009Applicant: PointCross, Inc.Inventor: Suresh Madhavan

Publication number: 20090182770Abstract: An organization defined as a collection of contexts having associated roles and objects is disclosed. In one implementation, a common computing system can maintain the contexts and associated roles and objects and provide data to personal systems. In another implementation, personal systems can maintain a subset of the data to assist in indexing.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 12, 2009Publication date: July 16, 2009Applicant: PointCross, Inc.Inventor: Suresh Madhavan

Publication number: 20080255918Abstract: A technique for representing a project over a network involves developing requirements for the project and linking responses to the requirements. A user associated with the project is automatically linked to project data in accordance with the user's role in the project. The project data includes the requirements, responses and other data.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 3, 2008Publication date: October 16, 2008Applicant: PointCross, Inc.Inventor: Suresh Madhavan

Publication number: 20080250020Abstract: A technique provides for an ontological representation of knowledge included in one or more contexts. A system and method based on the technique allows the creation, editing, and evolution of the ontology in the normal course of business as entities interact and communicate. Agents acting on behalf of contexts control the storage and linking of objects included in the ontology. Tree data structures and databases can be used to represent and store contexts, objects, roles, and taxonomies. Objects can be linked to other objects through context. Further, the contexts can be accessed through an authorization and accountability model.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 3, 2008Publication date: October 9, 2008Applicant: PointCross, IncInventor: Suresh Madhavan

Publication number: 20050278687Abstract: A technique for providing end user support involves allowing an end user to express wishes or requirements to a software developer or support organization about a software application. In a non-limiting embodiment, a system may include technology for (1) sensing a user's business context and application context; (2) allowing the user to express wishes or requirements about the software application or its use in the user's business, in a manner that ensures that a software developer associated with the software application receives these wishes, requests, and requirements; and (3) funneling such requests through a standardized process so that the user may receive the benefits of those requests in a coordinated manner in a relatively short time.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 31, 2005Publication date: December 15, 2005Inventor: Suresh Madhavan

Patent number: 4903188Abstract: A pulse width modulated inductive load controller including a load switching circuit having a plurality of switches which are operative in pairs; each pair including first and second switch devices for controlling power to a load. Commutation logic enables various sequential combination of pairs of switch devices and a clock defines the operation period of each sequential combination of switch device pairs. Pulse width modulation circuitry controls the closed time interval of the switch devices during the operation period of each combination of switch device pairs. Transition control circuitry maintains closed at least one of the switch devices in each sequential combination of switch device pairs after the other switch device is opened, thereby assuring that any regenerated current from the previously energized load coils is provided a path to recirculate through the load.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 1988Date of Patent: February 20, 1990Assignee: Cambridge Aeroflo, Inc.Inventors: Suresh Madhavan, Adam Cohen, Roger Holman

Patent number: 4733541Abstract: A circuit for monitoring the heat dissipation capacity of a cooling medium by defining the initial heat dissipation capacity of the medium at a predetermined temperature of a temperature-sensitive element immersed in the medium. The circuit senses a change in temperature of the element and restores the temperature of the element to the predetermined temperature. Based on the level of power required to restore the temperature of the element to the predetermined temperature, the circuit defines the adjustment in heat dissipation capacity of the medium required to return the medium to the initial capacity. Also disclosed is a system including such a circuit which modifies the heat dissipation capacity of the medium by the required adjustment to return the medium to the initial heat dissipation capacity.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 1986Date of Patent: March 29, 1988Assignee: Cambridge Aeroflo Inc.Inventors: Raouf A.
