The first misclassified transaction is associated with a first client accounting data store of a first client. The first misclassified transaction is associated with a first account, and the request is to change the first account to a second account. The method further includes generating a pattern for account correction based on the request, and applying the pattern to transactions to identify a second misclassified transaction. The transactions are associated with a second client accounting data store of a second client. The method further includes presenting a suggestion of a modification of the second misclassified transaction based on the pattern, and receiving an acceptance of the suggestion.

    Abstract: Various embodiments herein relate to data processing, in particular with regard to a rule-based data processing engine. Such a rule-based data processing engine is employed in various embodiments to apply rules to customer data to generate offers of systems and programs, such as credit card and customer loyalty offerings, that achieve desired goals of an offering entity. One embodiment includes identifying at least one program for which an individual qualifies based upon data of the individual in view of respective program qualification criteria. This method further includes determining, for each identified program, at least one variable parameter of the respective program based on a respective parameter rule. This method then transmits, via a network, representations of each of the identified programs with respective determined parameters for presentation within a user interface.

    Abstract: Systems, method and articles of manufacture for identifying an account of an account holder, user or payor to be utilized for an electronic bill payment to a payee. An online bill payment system or separate program receives account data of the payor from payor accounts at financial institution that will process the electronic bill payment and from another financial institution at which the payor has an account. Data of accounts hosted by the other financial institution is received from a financial management system. Data such as account balances and transactions is analyzed to determine estimated balances of the accounts on a payment data and to generate account rankings or scores. Account selection is based at least in part upon the scores, and the selected account is presented to the payor and may then be used for the electronic bill payment, or the payor may select a different account.

An attempt is made to categorize the transaction on a first categorization level complying with a first categorization scheme, then a second categorization level that complies with a second categorization scheme, and then a third categorization level that complies with a third categorization scheme. The first categorization scheme differs from the second categorization scheme. When the transaction cannot be categorized on a previous categorization level, the attempt is made for the next level and the second categorization level. The transaction is categorized on the third level. The method further includes displaying the vendor category.
